CLEAN AND CARE INSTRUCTION
HOW TO CLEAN
Before cleaning any electrical appliance, always make sure that plug
has been removed from the main supply outlet. Never immerse the
appliance in water or liquid. Do not clean any part of the Cotton
Candy Maker with gasoline, kerosene, glass or furniture polish or
paint thinner.
CLEANING THE BOWL
Turn the bowl clockwise to detach from the base.
Wash the cover, bowl with cold or warm water. Dry the surface
completely.
CLEANING THE EXTRACTOR HEAD
y Remove the extractor head as per (Fig. F)
after it is cool to avoid the risk of burn.
y Wash the extractor head with warm or hot
water. It can be easier to clean by soaking it
in water before washing.
y Use soft cloth to clean.
y Never use scrubbing brush to scratch the
surface.
y Dry the extractor head completely. Do not
drop or bend the extractor head.
y Thoroughly remove any burnt or clogged sugar from the extractor
head as it will cause unbalance in high speed turning.
CLEANING THE PROTECTIVE METAL HOUSING
y Use a soft cloth to clean the body and protective metal housing.
y Do not use scrubbing brush to clean the surface, otherwise it will
scratch the body or damage the unit.
PLUG & CORD INSTRUCTION
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of
becoming entangled in or tripped over a long cord.
2. Extension cords may be used if extra care is exercised in their
use.
If an extension cord is used, the marked electric rating of the
extension cord must be at least greater than the electrical rating of
the appliance. Moreover, the cord must be arranged so that it will not
drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintentionally.
Plug Fitting
This appliance is supplied with a fitted plug; however if you should
need to fit a new plug follow the instruction below.
IIMPORTANT:
The wires in the mains lead are
colored in accordance with the
following code:
Blue = Neutral, Brown = Live
Green/Yellow = Ground
The Brown wire must be connected
to the Live terminal, marked L, in
the plug. The Blue wire must be
connected to the Neutral terminal,
marked N, in the plug.
Green/Yellow wire must be
connected to the earth terminal of
the plug.
The plug must be fused with a 13 amp fuse.
NOTE: If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by a
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid
hazard.
