1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
2. Only use the air purifier as described in this manual.
3. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
4. Remove all packaging material, including the plastic wrap over the filter before use.
5. If the adapter, its cord, or plug is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer. Do not attempt to use a
substitute adapter as it could result in hazard and/or injury. Contact customer service for further assistance.
6. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance’s rated specification.
7. Do not let cord touch any hot surface and make sure that it does not hang over a table edge or counter.
8. Place air purifier on a firm, flat, level surface.
9. Do not use this product on wet surfaces. This air purifier is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas
and similar indoor locations.
Never locate air purifier where it may fall into bathtub or other water container.
10. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
12. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. Do not attempt to repair or replace parts except
for filters.
13. Unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Wipe it with a soft cloth.
14. Unplug the air purifier before removing the filter.
15. Do not immerse the appliance or the power cord in water or other liquids.
16. Do not use any detergents, glass or household cleaner, furniture polish, gasoline, paint thinner or other
solvent to clean any part of the air purifier.
17. If you spill any liquid on the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it off and unplug immediately.
18. Do not block, cover or obstruct the air vents. Do not place anything on top of the unit.
19. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not
route the cord where it will be tripped over.
20. Do not use the appliance with an extension cord.
21. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this air purifier with any solid-state speed
control devices.
22. Do not use outdoors.

This appliance in not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by

the appliance.

Before using the air purifier for the first time, remove all packaging material, including the plastic bag the filter is
wrapped in.
NOTE: Refer to CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE section of this manual for information on how to access and
install the filter.
Place the Air Purifier on a firm level surface with the controls facing upwards, making sure nothing is obstructing
the air flow on any side of the air purifier.
Plug the adapter into the AC input connection located at the bottom rear of the unit. Plug the adapter into the
wall socket.
When the air purifier is plugged in, it will beep and the POWER button will illuminate.
Tap the POWER button on the air purifier to start the air purifier. The fan speed will set at LOW.

Press the SPEED button repeatedly to scroll though LOW, HIGH, AUTO and SLEEP settings. In AUTO mode, the
fan speed is automatically set according to the air quality in the room. When in sleep mode, the fan will operate at a
lower fan speed and only the and lights will be illuminated.
Press the LOCK button for 3 seconds to turn on the child lock function. When the icon flashes the child lock is
activated so that the settings cannot inadvertently be changed.
Press the LOCK button again for 3 seconds to turn the child lock off. When the icons are illuminated, the child lock
function is not activated.
Press the TIMER button to scroll through the number of hours (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H) and select the number of hours for
the purifier to shut off.
REPLACE FILTER Indicator Light
After 2,000 hours of use, the REPLACE FILTER indicator light will flash. Press the indicator light icon to turn off the
air quality indicator lights.
NOTE:
1. For filter replacement, please order from www.geappliances.com, the part number is WK85X27993. Or you can
contact GE Appliance customer service to resolve this issue.
2. Refer to cleaning and maintenance section of this manual for information on how to access and install the filter.
3. To shut off the unit at any time, press the POWER button until all the indicator lights turn OFF.

Storage
If you are not going to use the air purifier for a long time make sure it is clean and dry. Wrap the filter in plastic. Store
in a cool dry place.

Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning or changing the filter.
• Do not use liquids to clean the air purifier.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the air purifier for cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure the particle sensor does not become
clogged with dust.
• If necessary, wipe only the exterior housing with a damp cloth, then immediately dry.
• You can vacuum the inside of the air purifier.

Filter Installation
Your air purifier comes with a 3-stage (Pre-filter + High Efficiency + Activated Carbon) Filter. To access the filter, turn
the bottom filter cover by the handle counterclockwise (towards the unlock symbol) to remove it. Lift the filter out of the
air purifier. Remove the plastic bag and reinstall the filter.
Replace the filter cover by turning it clockwise (towards the lock symbol) until it locks in place.
The REPLACE FILTER indicator light will illuminate after 2,000 hours of use. You may need to replace the filter if you
notice that the filter appears dirty or air purification seems to have decreased. If you notice that the filter is visibly dirty
or air purification seems to have decreased, the filter should be replaced.
NOTE: After replacing the filter, press the REPLACE FILTER indicator light for 3 seconds until the control panel lights
illuminate and the unit does not make any make a beeping sound in order to reset it.

The air quality sensor may be clogged
with dust or other debris. Wipe the air quality sensor and make sure
there is no dust or debris obstructing it.

Avant d’utiliser le purificateur d’air pour la première fois, retirez tout le matériel d’emballage, y compris le sac de
plastique dans lequel le filtre est enveloppé.
REMARQUE: Reportez-vous à la section nettoyage et entretien de ce manuel pour savoir comment accéder au filtre
et l’installer.
Placez le purificateur d’air sur une surface ferme et de niveau avec les commandes orientées vers le haut, en vous
assurant que rien n’obstrue la circulation d’air autour du purificateur d’air.
Branchez l’adaptateur dans la prise d’entrée C.A. située dans le bas de l’appareil à l’arrière. Branchez l'adaptateur
dans une prise murale.
Une fois branché, le purificateur fera entendre des bips et la touche Marche/Arrêt va s’illuminer. Tapez doucement
la touche Marche/Arrêt pour démarrer le purificateur d’air. Le ventilateur sera réglé à basse vitesse (Low).

Pressez la touche de la VITESSE plusieurs fois pour faire défiler les options LOW (bas), HIGH (haut), AUTO et
SLEEP (veille). Dans le mode AUTO, la vitesse du ventilateur est automatiquement réglée en fonction de la qualité
d’air de la pièce. Dans le mode SLEEP (veille), le ventilateur fonctionne à une vitesse plus basse et seuls les témoins
et seront illuminés.
Pressez la touche du VERROUILLAGE durant 3 secondes pour activer la fonction de protection des enfants.
Lorsque l’icône clignote, la protection des enfants est activée de sorte que les réglages ne peuvent être modifiés par
inadvertance.
Pressez la touche du VERROUILLAGE de nouveau durant 3 secondes pour désactiver la fonction de protection des
enfants. Lorsque les icônes sont illuminées, la fonction de protection des enfants n’est pas activée.
Pressez la touche de la MINUTERIE pour faire défiler les nombres d’heures (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H) à sélectionner pour
programmer l’arrêt du purificateur d’air.
TÉMOIN LUMINEUX DE REMPLACEMENT DU FILTRE
Après 2000 heures d’utilisation, le témoin de REMPLACEMENT DU FILTRE va clignoter. Pressez l’icône du témoin
lumineux pour éteindre les indicateurs de la qualité d’air.
REMARQUE:
1. Pour obtenir un filtre de rechange, veuillez commander la pièce no WK85X27993 sur www.geappliances.com. Ou
contactez le service à la clientèle GE Appliance pour résoudre ce problème.
