Sealing Methods - C530
Sealing with calibration seal stickers
Equipment required.
• Destructible stickers
• Setup switch cover
• Load cell connection cover (M5009)
Method
1. Place the setup switch cover in position so that it covers the setup switch and 2
closure screws.
2. Place a sticker over the centre of the setup switch cover and onto the side of the
enclosure as shown in Figure 1.

3. Either
• Place the load cell connector cover over the load cell connector and place
a sticker across the load cell connector cover as shown in Figure 1.
Or
• Place a sticker across the load cell connector as shown in Figure 2.

Sealing with wire and Lead seals
The Setup switch cover and pluggable screw terminal load cell connection can also
be secured with wire and Lead seals if required. This will also seal access to two of
the enclosure closure screws.
Equipment required.
• Wire and Lead seals
• Setup switch cover
• Load cell connection cover
Method
1. Place the setup switch cover in position so that it covers the setup switch and 2
closure screws.
2. Insert wire seals through loops provided and close the seals as shown in Figure 3.
3. Place the load cell connection cover over the load cell connector.
4. Insert wire seals through loops provided and close the seals as shown in figure 3.
