Prepare your vehicle:
Clean your vehicle to remove all dirt and
debris. DO NOT APPLY WAX. For best
results, use a clay bar to clean the area
where you plan to install the decal.
For best results, we recommend that
you install the decal indoors or out of
direct sunlight and blocked from wind.
Any breeze can make installation very
difficult. We recommend the use of a
generous amount of easy-to-mix spray-
on mounting solution. Please do not
attempt to install this large graphic
without a helper.
Make your own vinyl decal wet
mounting solution:
Mounting solution is a mixture of 16 oz.
water with 2 drops of baby shampoo.
1. Fill a spray bottle with 16 oz.
(2 cups) of water.
2. Add 2 large drops of baby shampoo
to the bottle.
3. Close bottle and shake well.
YOU WILL NEED TWO PEOPLE TO INSTALL LARGE GRAPHICS.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL WITHOUT A HELPER.
USE A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF MOUNTING SOLUTION.

Spray the area where you’ll be installing
the decal liberally with the pre-mixed
mounting solution. Use enough to
completely wet the area. This will allow
the decal to “float” and help you posi-
tion the decal more easily. (FIG1)
Remove the decal from the backing
paper. Generously wet the decal as you
peel it away from the backing. This
helps reduce the effect of “static”
created as you handle the vinyl decal,
and lessens the chance of dust and dirt
sticking to the adhesive. (FIG2)

Large Side Vinyl Decal Installation
Position the decal on to your Jeep
where you would like it. Do not press
it into place yet. Simply lay the decal
gently, allowing it to “float” on the
surface. (FIG3)
Move the decal into the exact position
you would like it. Line up the decal with
the body lines on your Jeep that match
the decal, leaving an even gap on all
edges. (FIG4)

Once you are happy with the position of
the decal, use the provided squeegee to
push out the mounting solution, locking
the decal in place. Always start in the
center of the decal and work towards
the outer edges, pushing all the liquid
and any air bubbles out from under
the decal. (FIG5)
Work your way around the entire decal,
each time starting from the center and
pushing toward an edge. You should
cover every square inch of the decal
with this technique. Repeat the above
steps for other side of vehicle and all
remaining decals.

Caring for your vinyl decal
Once the decal is installed onto your
vehicle, it will last for many years with
some proper care.
1. Never use a high pressure washer
directly on the decal.
2. Never use household cleaners like
hand soap or dishwashing detergent.
3. Always clean your decal with the
same mild car wash soap you use on the
rest of your Jeep, paying special atten-
tion to be sure you don’t catch the
edges of your new decal with a sponge
or wash mitt.
