Pressto turn the air purifier on and off.
FilterReset Button
The filter reset indicator light will come
on when the filter needs to be replaced.
Toreset the filter indicator after replacing
the filter, if no filter lights are on:
For the Pre-Filter, press the FILTERRESET
button once and the Pre light will flash; then
press and hold for 2seconds.The indicator
light for the filter will go off.
For the 99.97% True HEPAFilter, press
the FILTERRESETbutton twice and the
HEM light will flash; then press and hold
for 2 seconds. The indicator light for the filter
will go off.
Toreset the filter indicator after replacing
the filter, if one or both lights are on:
Pressand hold the FILTERRESETbutton
for 2 seconds. One or both indicator lights
will go off.
Timer Selector
Pressto selectfrom timer hour settings I hr.,
2 hr.,4 hr.,8 hr.or OFF.Theair purifier will run
for the selectednumber of hours and then
turn off.
Circulaire Selector
Pressto set the circulation grille Onor Off.
When CIRCULAIREisOn,the circulation
grille will move to circulate airflow. When
CIRCULAIREisOff,the grillewill stop but
remain open.After 6 hoursof operation,
the unit will automatically turn off.

Fan Speed Selector
Press to adjust the fan motor speed setting
from levels1,2,3,4,5 and AUTO.The Fan
Speed indicator showsthe setting level
the fan ison.
InAUTOmode, the fan speedisautomaticallg
adjusted according to the dust levelof the
room. TheAuto Setting indicator light will
be on when the Speedisset to AUTO.
Light Sensor/Night Mode
When the air purifier isOn and set to AUTO,
the Light Sensor will detect the lossof light for
more than ] minutes. If this happens, the unit
goes into Night Mode.When the Light Sensor
detects bright light again,normal operations
resume.

Using the air purifier.
Packaging must be removed from the True HEPAFilter before using your air purifier for the first time.

plasticshipping cover from the filter and discard.
Replacethe 99.97%True HEPAFilterin the unit.
Thereisa fixed gasket on the edgesof the filter.
That sidegoestoward the back ofthe unit. There
isa tab on the front sideof the 99.97%True
HEPAFilterthat sags "FRONT."

install it in the back of the Pre-Filternow.Slide
the Charcoal Filterunder the tabs on the back
sideofthe Pre-Filter.Installwith the Charcoal
Filterfacing the 99.97%True HEPAFilter.
Using the air purifier.
[_ Insertthe sidetabs of the Pre-Filterintothe slots
of the unit; pull tabs should be to the outside.
Pushthe Pre-Filterto snap into place.
[77 Insertthe tabs at the top of the front cover into
the holesat the front of the control panel. Push
the bottom to the body to snap it into place.
Operating Instructions

Turn off the air purifier and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Front Cover and Bodg
To clean:
Usea soft cloth to clean the front cover and body.
Forstubborn dirt, usewater with a very mild
detergent. DONOTusebleach or abrasives.
Pre-Filter and Charcoal Filter
Cleanthe Pre-Filterevery 5 months. Cleaning may
be needed more often, depending upon usage
and the environment.
To access:

before servicing.
[77 Pullthe bottom of the front cover toward you
and lift up slightly to remove.
[_ Pullforward on the black Pre-Filter,using the pull
tabs in the middle, and remove it from the unit.
Pulltabs
Toclean:
Removethe Charcoal Filter ifinstalled. Usea clean
cloth and water to remove dust accumulated
on the Pre-Filter.
The Charcoal Filter,if installed,needsto be changed
every 5 months. TheCharcoal FilterCANNOTbe
cleaned. It must be replaced.
Charcoal Filterscan be purchased in 4-packs
at the retailstore where you purchased your air
purifier or by calling GEPartsand Accessories
at 1.800.626.2002.Thefilter pack part number
is RAPCF3.
After drying the Pre-Filterthoroughly, replace
the Charcoal Filter,if used.Replacethe Pre-Filter
and front cover.
The Pre-Filter and front cover are not
dishwasher-safe. 9
