APPLET FOR NOKIA MOBILES - INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLET INSTALLATION
You will need: a PC, compatible Nokia mobile phone
with the operating system S60, Nokia data cable, Nokia
Data Suite software (both normally included with the
phone), applet software.
The applet software can be found on our website /
Comfort VISION as a ZIP file. Download this file and
unzip it using, for example, the Windows shareware
WinZip (download from www.winzip.com).
Install the driver for the Nokia data cable and the
Nokia Data Suite software on the PC.
Switch your Nokia phone on. Connect the Nokia data
cable to the phone and the PC.
Open Nokia Data Suite on the PC. Select the item
“Install Applications”. In the left field “My Computer” of
the open window, double-click on the file “Bury CV
Applet for Nokia mobiles” to start the software transfer
to the phone.

Follow the instructions on the mobile display. Once
installation is complete, restart the mobile – this can
take up to 60 seconds. If the applet installation is
blocked by the security settings on the mobile, you will
need to change the settings. To do this, go into the
mobile menu “Tools” and call up “Manager”, “Options”
and set the “Software Installation” in “Settings” to
“on”.
After restarting the mobile, you will be able to estab

lish a Bluetooth connection to the Comfort VISION
hands-free car kit as usual.
Once the applet software is installed, the mobile
display will display shortly after starting: “Welcome to
Comfort VISION”. In some exceptional cases, it has
been known for the battery level and field strength to
no longer appear in the phone’s basic display.
Alternatively, you can transfer the applet from the PC
onto the mobile using a Bluetooth stick and install it
there.

How do I install the applet on a Nokia mobile telephone?
The most important steps are as follows:

Nokia mobile telephones with the operating system S60 (see compatibility list of Comfort VISION
systems) can have an applet installed on them, making it possible to display SMS messages from
the telephone memory and address book data, lists of calls, provider names, battery level and field
strength on the display of CV hands-free kits (with firmware 1.52 or higher).
