1. UPGRADE FROM V1.0 TO V1.10
1.1 Introduction
Upgrade
The upgrade from V1.00 to V1.10 for the Barco iDR600 must be done with 2 upload tools
:theUpgradeTool .exe program and the standard CodeControl.exe program.
The upgrade m ust first be performed with the UpgradeTool program.
CAUTION: A lway s upgrade with the UpgradeToo l first ! Using directly the
CodeControl w ill lock the projector !
1.2 Upgrade with the Upgrade Tool
How to do the upgrade using the Upgrade Tool ?
1.Start the Upgrade tool (image 1-1)
A dialog box is displayed
2.Fill in the Com m unication Port (by default COM 1)
3.Fill in the Baud rate (by default 115200)
4.Press OK
A dialog box is displayed
5.Fill in the projector address (image 1-2)
6.Press START
7.When finished the message “Download terminated” will be displayed in the lower part of
the dialogbox.

1.3 Upgrade with the Code control
How to upgrade the software ?
1.Connect the PC to the projector via the RS232 port
2.Switch the projector to standby
3.Start the download program (image 1-3)
Tip: The d
ownload program can also be downloaded from the secured website

Tip: The m inimal baudrate is 9600 b/s
recommended baudrate = 115200 b/s
The baudrate is detected as soon as a baudrate value is chosen.
The detection is displayed in the window.
7.Click the Browse button a nd select the previously downloaded source file (.bin). (im-
age 1-4)
8.Press the Download button to start the download proce ss.

download interface
