Base DL Guide
Here is how the system soft case (NovAtel part number 01016687) is intended
to be packed:
1. First, the inside:
2. Now, close the case and place the
antenna and the RF antenna cable into
the pouch at the top of the pack.*
on reverse
3. Close the top pouch using the Velcro
strip on the flap and ensure the carrying
case is fully closed.
Warning: Do not close flap when operating. Radio transmitter MUST BE REMOVED
from foam insert to dissipate heat.

* If you are carrying your base equipment to the base site, you may wish to
place the base radio and antenna into the soft case as shown in Figure 1,
Figure 2 and Figure 3. However, if you wish to ship your equipment in the
optional system hard case (NovAtel part number 14323029), then fit the soft
case into your hard case, remove the base radio from inside the soft case and
put it into its own Pelican-supplied case, place your antenna into where the
base radio used to be in the soft case and close both cases.
