DMX Linking
The Ovation™ FD-165WW will work with a DMX controller using a
regular DMX serial connection. A DMX Primer is available from
www.chauvetprofessional.com.
DMX Connection
The Ovation™ FD-165WW uses a regular DMX data connection for its
DMX personalities: UNO, DOS, and STD.P
. See the User Manual to
connect and configure for DMX operation.
Master Control
The Ovation™ FD-165WW allows control of other Ovation
FD-165WW products using a regular DMX data connection. See the User
Manual to configure for Master Control operation.
Master/Slave
Connection
The Ovation™ FD-165WW uses the DMX data connection for its
Master/Slave mode. See the User Manual to connect and configure for
Master/Slave operation.
Dimmer/Zoom
Control
The Ovation FD-165WW may be plugged into and controlled using a
regular dimmer. In this mode, the product reacts exactly like an
incandescent product; however, the motorized zoom control
on the control
panel needs enough power from the dimmer to run the motor
. See the User
Manual to configure Dimmer/Zoom Control operation.
