Wagan Active Heat Back Wrap is a versatile device that combines the benefits of heat and cold therapy to provide relief from muscle pain and stiffness. The wrap is equipped with three heat settings, allowing you to customize the intensity of the heat. It also features an auto shut-off function for added safety, and can be powered by a rechargeable power bank, AC wall adapter or computer USB. The wrap comes with a USB charging battery pack with LED flashlight and an inner pouch for a cold therapy pack (included). The insulating foam rubber retains hot or cold temperature effectively.

CAUTION

• Do not use if there are any signs of damage to the product.

• The product must not be used by persons with restricted sensory, or

mental capabilities.

• This product is not a toy and should not be used by children.

• This product is designed for home use only. It is not intended for

professional applications or medical use in hospitals.

• Heat pads should only be used for warming a speciﬁc part of the body.

Any other use of the product is considered hazardous. The manufacturer

denies any responsibility for damage or injury caused due to improper or

incorrect use.

• Do not apply the product on body areas with scars, wounds, inﬂammation

or any other abnormalities caused by illness. The product should not be

used by persons suffering from phlebitis, arthritis or other inﬂammations as

heat may cause aggravation. When in doubt consult your physician.

• It is not recommended to apply heat pads directly to any body region

where the skin is sensitive.

• Avoid excessively long periods of use at high temperature. Do not sleep

with heat pad in operation.

• Discontinue use if any rash, inﬂammation or allergic reaction occurs while

using this product.

• Do not use the product if wet. Never expose the power bank or adapter to

wet conditions.

• Do not expose the product to the elements (rain, sun, etc.).

• Do not use the product folded or creased. Do not store the product creased.

• Do not stick pins, needles or other sharp objects into the product.

• Do not place heavy objects on the product.

• Do not hold the product by the power cord when moving or carrying.

• Do not leave the product unattended while in operation.

• Do not use the product under the inﬂuence of alcohol or sedatives etc.

• Keep the product away from ﬁre or other sources of extreme heat (e.g.

other heat pads, heated blankets, hot water bottles, etc.)

• Detach the power bank or other accessories before cleaning the product.

• Inspect the product frequently for signs of wear or damage. If these signs

appear, cease use of the product.

• This product has no serviceable parts that can be repaired or replaced by

the user. If the product does not operate correctly, or exhibits any other

anomaly, do not attempt repairs. Contact customer service.

OPERATION

1. Fit the heat pad onto the speciﬁc body region and fasten it with the hook-

and-loop straps.

2. Connect to a power source (2 ways):

• Connect the heating pad to the power bank and insert the power

bank into the pocket, or

• Using the included USB extension cable, connect the Wrap to a USB

power adapter.

3. If using the power bank, ﬁrst press the power button on the power bank and

then press the button on the wrap to activate the heat setting. The switch

is illuminated when the product is in operation. Each press of the button

will allow you to adjust the heat setting. Each color indicates a different

heat level:

• Low: (green light) approx. 95°F (35°C)

• Medium: (blue light ) approx. 118°F (48°C)

• High: (red light ) approx. 140°F (60°C)

• Off: (no light)

4. The wrap begins warming in a few seconds.

5. The wrap will automatically shut off after two hours of continuous use.

6. For maximum beneﬁt from the heat treatment we recommend use of the

wrap for 30 to 45 minutes on high setting or up to 2 hours on medium

or low setting with a maximum use of 2-3 times per day. Consult your

physician for further advice.

BATTERY STATUS INDICATOR LIGHTS

• To check the status of the battery pack, click the power button once.

• One to four lights will illuminate, showing the status of the battery charge;

four lights indicate a full charge.

• Indicator light will shut off automatically after 30 seconds.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

1. Connect the micro-USB end of the USB charge cable into the “IN 5V” port

of the battery pack.

2. Plug the USB end of the charge cable into any USB charger.

3. The battery charger is fully charged when the four battery status lights are

lit and none are blinking.

BATTERY PACK AS A USB CHARGER

• The battery pack also serves as a charger for your phone, tablet, or other

USB device.

• Just plug your device into the “OUT 5V 1A” port and press power button.

USING THE FLASHLIGHT

• The battery pack contains an emergency LED ﬂashlight. Just press the power

button for 2 seconds to turn it on.

• To shut off the ﬂashlight, press power button for 2 seconds.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Remove battery pack and disconnect from all power sources before

cleaning your Active Heat wrap.

2. Hand wash only. Wash the pad in lukewarm water with a neutral wool

detergent or mild soap.

3. Do not wring. Do not machine wash.

4. Dry the product by laying it ﬂat in a shaded area. Do not tumble dry. Do

not dry in direct sunlight. Do not dry with a hairdryer or heater.

5. Ensure that the product and USB cord are completely dry before using.

6. Before storage of the product, ensure that it has cooled and is dry.

Avoid excessive folds or wrinkles. Please store in a cool dry place, avoid

compressing with other heavy items.

7. Inspect the product (heating control and power cord) on a regular basis. If

the product appears worn, damaged or has been misused, please do not

continue to use the product.

The WAGAN Corporation warranty is limited to products sold only in

the United States.

Warranty Duration:

Product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from

the original purchase date, to be free of defects in material and workmanship.

WAGAN Corporation disclaims any liability for consequential damages. In no event

will WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the

amount paid for the product at retail.

Warranty Performance:

During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a

comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an

original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or repair

the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the balance of the

original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any units which have

been used in violation of written instructions furnished.

or person is authorized to assume any other liability in connection with the sale of our

products. There shall be no claims for defects or failure of performance or product

failure under any theory of tort, contract or commercial law including,but not limited
