Groupe Brandt MIX-1200 is a cordless hand blender that comes with various accessories for multiple use cases. You can use it to prepare light meals such as sauces, soups, mayonnaise, and purees. left within the reach of children because

they can be dangerous.

• The appliance is for domestic use only.

Any other use is considered unsuitable

or dangerous.

• The manufacturer shall not be responsible

for any damages that may arise from

improper or inadequate use, or for repairs

conducted by non-qualified personnel.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet or

damp hands or feet.

• Keep the appliance separate from water

or other liquids, to avoid electric shock;

mains if it is on a damp surface.

• Place the appliance on a dry, firm and

stable surface.

• Do not allow children or the disabled to

handle the appliance unsupervised.

when it is turned on because it can be

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning or

• In the event of fault or malfunction

where the appliance is not to be used,

turn off the appliance and do not

attempt to repair. If a repair is required,

contact a Technical Assistance Service

authorised by the manufacturer and

request the use of original spare parts.

• If the cable for this appliance is damaged,

contact an authorised Technical

Assistance Service for it to be replaced.

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to

the elements (rain, sun, ice, etc.).

• Do not use or let any part of the

appliance come into contact or near hot

surfaces (kitchen gas or electric hobs or

ovens).

• Do not use detergents or abrasive

sponges to clean the appliance.

• Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the

handles.

• Do not let the cable come into contact

with the hot parts of the appliance.

• Before using this appliance for the first

time, read the following instructions

carefully and keep them for future

reference.

• Make sure that the mains voltage

in your home corresponds to that

indicated on the appliance.

• In the event of incompatibility between

the mains socket and the appliance

plug, replace the socket with a suitable

one, using a qualified professional.

• The electrical safety of the appliance

is only guaranteed if it is connected

to an efficient earth installation, as

foreseen in applicable electrical safety

regulations. If in doubt, contact a

qualified professional.

• The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and

or extension cables is not recommended.

Where it is not possible to avoid their use,

only adaptors or extensions that comply

with applicable safety regulations should

be used, and ensuring that the indicated

voltage limit is not exceeded.

This product complies with the European

Directives on Electromagnetic Compatibility

and Low Voltage.

• Before using the appliance, ensure that

all accessories are firmly attached to

the blender casing.

• The mixer base should be put in place

and removed when the appliance is

unplugged.

• Do not place the motor casing under

the tap or in water.

• Avoid contact with the blade while the

appliance is in operation.

• This product contains Ni MH

rechargeable batteries. At the end of

their useful life, do not dispose of the

batteries with general domestic waste.

Hand them in to a special centres

for the collection of electrical and

electronic appliances provided by local

councils or distributors.

4. OPERATION

Before using this blender for the first time,

clean the casing (1) with a damp cloth.

Clean the shaft and blade in warm soapy

water, but avoid immersing the upper part

of the appliance shaft in water. Dry all parts

thoroughly.

Charging the battery

This appliance is equipped with NiMH type

rechargeable batteries. These batteries leave

the factory with a slight charge. However,

after the first use they must be completely

recharged for a minimum of 14 hours. For

maximum performance they should be

completely discharged and the load cycle

repeated during the 2nd or 3rd use.

Only use the charger base supplied with

the appliance to charge the batteries.

Connect the charger to the base and the

base to the electrical supply (green light).

Place the blender on the charger base.

The indicator light will show red until the

batteries are charged, then the light will

turn green.

Batteries without any charge will normally

take about 3 hours to charge. However,

the blender does not need to be used until

totally discharged.

5. OPERATION

ACCESSORY/ FUNCTION SELECTION

BLENDER FUNCTION

The blender is suitable for beating light

foodstuffs, for example for making sauces,

soups, mayonnaises or purées. Fit the

blender base to the blender casing by

turning it anticlockwise using the close

position indicators as a guide

(fig. 3).

WHISK FUNCTION

Insert the whisk into the whisk coupling

(Fig.

4). Fit the whisk coupling to the blender

casing by turning it anticlockwise, using the

close position indicators as a guide

(Fig. 5).

CHOPPER FUNCTION

Use the chopper for dried fruit and nuts,

vegetables, boiled eggs, dry bread, etc.

Place the blade into the shaft of the blender

jug

(Fig. 6). Place the ingredients you wish

to chop in the jug. Close the lid

(Fig. 7)

and fit the chopper into the blender casing

by turning it anticlockwise using the close

position indicators as a guide

(Fig. 8).

SPEED REGULATOR (Fig. 9)

Select the speed you desire by turning the

speed regulator.

Press the ON/OFF button to operate the

blender. The blender will stop when you

stop pressing the ON/OFF button.

When the load level is reached (green light)

the appliance does not need to be removed

from the charger base.

NOTE: After prolonged storage, or if the battery

capacity appears to have reduced, discharge

the batteries and charge as in the beginning.

Battery duration

To make the battery last longer, try not to

operate the blender for periods of longer

than 1 minute (1/2 minute in the case of

the chopper function) followed by 1 minute

stoppage for consecutive cycles.

7. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT

DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND

ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

At the end of its working

life, the product must not be

disposed of as urban waste.

It must be taken to a special

local authority differentiated

waste collection centre or

to a dealer providing this

service. Disposing of a household appliance

separately avoids possible negative

consequences for the environment and

health deriving from inappropriate disposal

and enables the constituent materials to be

recovered to obtain significant savings in

energy and resources.

To remind you that you must collaborate

with a selective collection scheme, the

symbol shown appears on the product

warning you not to dispose of it in

traditional refuse containers.

For further information, contact your local

authority or the shop where you bought the

product.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wash all accessories immediately after

each use to prolong the blender’s useful

life. Be careful when handling the blades as

they are very sharp, and keep them out of

the reach of children. You may also clean

the jug and the whish in the dishwasher. To

clean all exterior parts, use a damp cloth.

IMPORTANT: Never immerse the motor

casing or the charger in any liquid.
