of defects in materials and workmanship for a
period of five (5) years. There are no obligations
or liabilities on the part of Wattstopper for
consequential damages arising out of, or in
connection with, the use or performance of this
product or other indirect damages with respect
to loss of property, revenue or profit, or cost of
removal, installation or reinstallation.

DESCRIPTION
The EM-24xx is a low voltage photocell used for operating exterior lighting. It is used for signaling light levels to Wattstopper lighting
control panels and devices that control exterior lighting.
• Typically the EM-24xx is mounted on the exterior or roof of a building with the light sensing window facing north.
• The EM-24xx’s 1/2” threaded male conduit base can be connected to conduit fittings or to junction boxes with the supplied locknut.
• For the EM-24A2, connect 24 VAC to the two black wires.
Normally, this power is supplied from the lighting control panel or device the photocell serves.
• For the EM-24D2, connect to 24VDC with black wire to (-)DC and the white wire to (+)DC polarity.
• The relay contact red wires are connected to the lighting control panel or to a low voltage controlled load.
Contacts are rated 1A@30VAC/VDC.
