This DC Power adapter has a built-in wireless four frequency FM Modulator. The
FM modulator is designed to accept line level audio signals only. The frequency
select switch is used to select from four available transmitter frequencies. The
radio must be tuned to the same frequency that is selected on the frequency
select switch. To achieve the best results, select a radio frequency that is not
used in your area from the available frequencies.
Connect With A DVD Player
1) Connect the 3.5mm audio jack to the DVD audio output jack on the DVD
player.
2) Connect the power output jack to the 9 VDC input on the DVD player.
3) Plug the Power Adapter into the 12 VDC outlet in the vehicle.
4) Tune the vehicle radio to the same frequency that is selected on the modulator.
Frequency Select
NOTE: In certain areas where there are a large number of FM radio stations
(e.g. large cities, urban areas), the reception of the FM signal from the WFM7810
may not be satisfactory, resulting in static, distorted sound or signal bleed through
from strong local radio stations. This is not a defect in the product, but the result
of a stronger local radio station overpowering the wireless FM transmitter in your
WFM7810.
