DIGITIZING CD MUSIC TO 12 DISC INTERNAL MEMORY
To have full control and operation of your CD music from your factory radio, you must
Digitize the CD. Follow these steps to do this
Step 1 Load CD into slot. Wait for CD to be recognized. Once recognized, the CD will Auto Start.
Please allow 4 seconds to pass of Auto play before attempting to digitize.
Step 2 Once 4 seconds has passed, simply push the RECORD BUTTON and the unit will display
COPYING. The unit will give a display showing the amount of songs on the disc and which song has
begun digitizing.
EX. 1-12 **This shows song 1 of 12 and song 1 is digitizing
Step 3 The unit digitizes the media at 3X speed so a 3 minute song will complete in 1 minute. Once the
entire disc has completed, The unit will turn off automatically. You will be able to display and access the
CD player memory from your factory radio. Simply leave the unit in the OFF position and access your
USB or AUX input selection on your factory radio.
PLAYING MUSIC WITHOUT DIGITIZING (PLAYING REAL-TIME)
This unit is equipped with a REAL-TIME CD playback mode. On the rear of the unit, a AUX Audio
3.5mm output cable is provided. This will need to be connected to the AUX audio 3.5mm input of
your factory radio.
Step 1 To play music with the CD player WITHOUT digitizing, simply load a CD into the player. The CD
will auto play and once started make sure you select AUX on your factory radio. In addition, you MUST
make sure the AUX audio output cable is connected to the vehicles provided AUX audio input.
**NOTE** This function will only permit controls of song changing and controls either from the
CD player itself or the provided wireless remote control.
INTERRUPTED CD DIGITIZING
If the process of digitizing is interrupted by turning off the player, the unit has LAST POSITION MEMORY
whereby once you restore power to the unit, you simply push the REFRESH button on the player. The CD
will resume playback then push the CIRCLE RECORD button again and it
will pick up where it left off.
DIGITIZING OR PLAYBACK OF SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED CD’S
This unit is designed to read discs in fair to moderate condition as well as new. In the event the media is
damaged or unrecognizable by the player, the unit will skip over that song and proceed to the next track.
Please make a note of this. Ex. A DISC may have 12 songs on it but if 4 are damaged, on 8 of the 12 will
be digitized.
