Install and use this product following your local electrical codes and regulations.
1. Turn off current at fuse or circuit breaker.
2.
Place rubber washers between ceiling fan box and black bracket.
Align holes and secure bracket to
box using 1
1
⁄2" machine screws, flat washers and lock washers supplied. (Fig. A)
3.
Place retaining ball into socket of bracket matching key to slot in retaining ball.
4.
Slide down rod through bottom of retaining ball and insert pin
through down rod. (Fig. B) Lock pin into
retaining ball slots and secure with
1
⁄2" set screw. (Fig. C)
5.
Connect green grounding wire of retaining ball to grounding conductor in ceiling fan box.
6. Slide canopy over down rod.
7.
Complete fan or fixture installation
following manufacturer’s instructions.
8.
Slide wires from fan or fixture through down rod and make proper connections in ceiling box.
9.
Place canopy into proper position over black bracket and secure with
1
⁄2" screws. (Fig.B)
Warning: Do not mount fan to existing ceiling box. The box must comply with the requirements of the
National Electric Code.

ceiling fan box following manufacturer’s instructions.
Instale y use este producto siguiendo los códigos y reglamentos de electricidad locales.
1.
Apague la corriente eléctrica en el fusible ó el corta-circuitos.
2.
Coloque las arandelas entre la caja del ventilador de techo y el soporte negro.
Alinee los huecos y sujete
el soporte a la caja usando tornillos de 1

⁄2" arandelas llanas y de seguridad provistas. (Fig. A)

Coloque la bola retenedora en la cuenca del soporte poniendo la llave en la ranura corres-pondiente en
la bola de retención.
4. Deslize la varilla descendente por el fondo de la bola de retención y entre las clavijas por la varilla
descendente. (Fig. B) Sujete la clavija en las ranuras en la bola de retención y sujete con los tornillos de
fijación de
1
⁄2". (Fig. C)
5.
Conecte el cable verde de conectar a tierra de la bola de retención al conductor de conectar a tierra en la
caja del ventilador de techo.
6. Deslize el dosel sobre la varilla descendente.
7.
T
ermine la instalación del adorno o el ventilador siguiendo las instrucciones del fabricante.
8.
Deslize los cables del ventilador ó adorno por la varilla descendiente y haga las conexiones
adecuadas en la caja de empalme.
9.
Coloque el dosel en la posición adecuada sobre el soporte negro y sujete con los
tornillos de
1
⁄2". (Fig.B)
Advertencia: No monte el ventilador a la caja existente en el techo. La caja debe cumplir con todos los
requisitos de los Codigos Nacionales de Electricidad.
