IPC-POA200/12-01 User’s Guide

Thank you for purchasing the IPC-POA200/12-01 power supply unit.

The IPC-POA200/12-01 is the dedicated power supply unit for the following CONTEC Flat Panel

displays and Flat Panel Computer.

Flat Panel Display: IPC-DT/M20V(PC)T, IPC-DT/L20S(PC)T, IPC-DT/H20X(PC)T

Flat Panel Computer: IPC-PT/MSH3VV Series

Warning

inappropriately handled ignoring this icon.

- Do not use the product in locations exposed to a flammable or corrosive gas. It may cause explosion,

fire, electrical shock, or malfunction.

- If you sense abnormality (smoke, odor, or noise), immediately unplug the power cord from the wall

outlet and contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.

- To avoid electrocution do not use the product with a wet hand.

- Prevent foreign matters (such as metal pieces, combustibles, and liquids) from penetrating into the

product through ventilation holes, for example, to prevent a fire or electrical shock.

- Be sure to connect the product to the stipulated power supply voltage. Connecting to a different

voltage might cause a fire or electrical shock.

- Be sure to ground the product.

- Never disassemble or modify the product or replace its parts in order to prevent electrical shock,

fire, or malfunction. CONTEC reserves the right to refuse servicing the product modified by the

user. When any part of the product needs to be replaced at the expiration of its life or due to

breakdown, please contact the CONTEC sales representative or sales office.

- Use the product in the stipulated operating environment (temperature and humidity).

- When installing the product, be sure to disconnect the power cable.

- Do not use or store the product in a location exposed to extremely high or low temperature or

susceptible to a rapid temperature change. Example:

- Exposure to direct sun

- In the vicinity of a heat source

- To clean the product wipe it gently with soft cloth damp with either water or mild detergent.

Do not use chemicals or a volatile solvent, such as benzene and thinner, to prevent peeling or

discoloration of the paint.

- Avoid installation that blocks ventilation holes. Blocking contains heat inside the product causing it

to malfunction or break down.

- CONTEC is not liable for the product that has been modified by the user.

- When transporting the product, provide adequate measures to protect it from vibration or shock.

Estimated life is about 10 years based on continual operation at 40°C (Vertical installation).

However, (higher) operating temperatures will result in shorter life.

* This AC power cable is for the voltage of the 125VAC or less. In the case that the voltage that this

cable uses do not match you need to prepare other cable particularly.

Installation Procedure

First be sure that the power switch of the power supply unit is set to off and then connect the power

supply unit DC cable to the connector of Flat Panel Display or Flat Panel Computer.

Limited One-Year Warranty

CONTEC IPC Series are warranted by CONTEC Co., LTD to be free from defects in

material and workmanship for up to one year from the date of purchase by the original

purchaser.

Repair will be free of charge only when this device is returned freight prepaid with a

copy of the original invoice and a Return Merchandise Authorization to the distributor

or the CONTEC group office, from which it was purchased.

This warranty is not applicable for scratches or normal wear, but only for the electronic

circuitry and original boards. The warranty is not applicable if the device has been

tampered with or damaged through abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or unreasonable use,

or if the original invoice is not included, in which case repairs will be considered

beyond the warranty policy.

How to Obtain Service

For replacement or repair, return the device freight prepaid, with a copy of the original

invoice. Please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA) from the

CONTEC group office where you purchased before returning any product.

* No product will be accepted by CONTEC group without the RMA number.

Liability

The obligation of the warrantor is solely to repair or replace the product. In no event

will the warrantor be liable for any incidental or consequential damages due to such

defect or consequences that arise from inexperienced usage, misuse, or malfunction of

this device.
