Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of this VoIP module. You have chosen a forward-
looking enhancement to your telephone system.
With the VoIP module, you can log in with up to 10 SIP providers and make calls over
the internet. Of course, it is also possible to log in with a SIP proxy of your local
network (e.g. to use the system as ISDN/analogue to VoIP gateway).
Note
We reserve the right to make changes to the user guide and described hardware at
any time and without prior announcement. You can also download the current
version of the user guide as a pdf file from our website www.tiptel.com. We have
taken the greatest care when putting together the texts and illustrations for this user
guide, but the possibility of errors cannot be ruled out. The publisher accepts no
liability for incorrect information or its consequences.

the device disconnected from the LAN, and if necessary, the ISDN connection
cable removed from the NTBA.

If you make internet telephone calls without voice compression (in accordance with
standard G.711), you need a bandwidth of approx. 85 kbps per call. If you want to
use a standard ADSL connection with an upload rate of 128 kbps, this may lead to
problems with voice transfer if you use the internet at the same time
(upload/download of files). In this case, make sure your router gives priority to voice
packets. Contact your router manufacturer for information on this.
For technical reasons, voice quality over the internet depends on numerous factors
(bandwidth, router, network load). For this reason, Tiptel cannot accept liability for
terminated calls or malfunctions. Please contact your internet telephony provider.
