Safety Information
IMPORTANT: Read and understand all of the safety information and instructions in this
manual before operating your dehumidifier. Retain this manual for future reference.
Do Not expose to rain or water spray. Do Not submerge this dehumidifier in
water or use in excessively wet conditions.
WARNING
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT INJURY.
WARNING
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out,
this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
CAUTION
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
CAUTION
DO NOT COVER DEHUMIDIFIER OR OBSTRUCT AIR INLET OR OUTLET.
WARNING
DO NOT INSTALL DEHUMIDIFIER ON UNEVEN SURFACE.
WARNING
Before operating dehumidier, be sure that you
know how to switch the dehumidier off in an
emergency.
ALWAYS use only the electrical power (voltage
and frequency) specied on the model plate of
the dehumidier.
ALWAYS use an extension cord properly rated for
this appliance.
ALWAYS install the dehumidier so that it is not
directly exposed to water spray, rain or dripping
water.
ALWAYS ensure that all cords are protected
against short circuit and overload.
ALWAYS disconnect dehumidifier from power
source when not in use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
NEVER pull or carry dehumidifier by power cord.
NEVER insert any objects through the fan guard.
NEVER use dehumidifier with an external
switching device, such as a timer.
NEVER set the dehumidifier higher than the
ambient temperature.
Empty tank before storing or moving the unit.
When unit is defrosting, allow cycle to complete
before unplugging the unit.
Wait 3 minutes after shutdown before restarting
to avoid damaging the compressor.
If dehumidifier is damaged, do not use it. The
dehumidifier must be serviced by a qualified person
or service agent.

Starting the Dehumidifier:
1. Connect the dehumidifier to the proper
electrical power.
2. Press power button to turn on the unit.
3. The digital display will show the ambient
humidity in the room.
4. Choose fan speed: +/−
5. Choose desired humidity setting, Continuous
(CO) or Automatic (AU).
Humidity Settings:
Continuous Mode (CO)
Continuous mode will keep the relative
humidity at the chosen constant point.
The setting range is from 50%-80% relative
humidity.
When the ambient humidity is 3% lower than
the chosen humidity setting, the compressor
will stop.
When the ambient humidity is 3% higher than
the chosen humidity setting, the compressor
will re-start and maintain the chosen humidity
setting.
Automatic Mode (AU)
Automatic mode will keep the ambient
humidity constant in relation to the ambient
temperature of the space.
When the ambient temperature is lower than
5 ºC, the compressor will shutdown while the
unit remains on.
When the ambient temperature is between
5 ºC and 20 ºC, the space will be kept at 60%
relative humidity automatically.
When the ambient temperature is between
21 ºC and 27 ºC, the space will be kept at
55% relative humidity automatically.
When the ambient temperature is higher than
28 ºC, the space will be kept at 50% relative
humidity automatically.

Operation
Timer:
The timer can be set for 1-24 hours.
The timer can turn the unit it on while in
standby mode or turn the unit off after a
period of use.
Automatic Start
With the dehumidifier plugged in but powered
off (Standby Mode), press the timer button
until the desired time is displayed. (1-24
hours)
The display will flash 5 times and the timer
will be set. The unit will turn on in the
displayed amount of time.
NOTE: Pressing the power button when the
timer is set will cancel the timer and power
on the unit.
Automatic Shutdown
With the dehumidifier plugged in and
operating, press the timer button until the
desired time is displayed. (1-24 hours)
The display will flash 5 times and the timer
will be set. The unit will continue to run for the
displayed amount of time.
Once the time limit is reached, the unit will
shut down.
NOTE: Pressing the power button when
the timer is set will cancel the timer and
shutdown the unit.

Maintenance
Draining:
Water Tank Draining
The condensed water will drain into the tank
in the rear of the dehumidifier.
When the tank is full, the tank full indicator
light will illuminate.
1. Turn off the dehumidifier.
2. Remove and empty the water tank
3. Replace the tank and power the
dehumidifier on.
Continuous Draining
The dehumidifier can be configured to drain
continuously with a piece of PVC tubing.
NOTE: PVC tubing NOT included with this unit.
1. To install PVC tubing, remove water
tank and plug tubing into drain hole.
2. Replace the water tank in case tubing
becomes dislodged.
3. Be sure to place drain tube at a lower
point than dehumidifier to ensure proper
draining and water flow.
Filter Cleaning:
1. Remove the water tank before removing filter.
2. Remove filter by pulling down on filter tabs.
3. Wash filter with cool water only, DO NOT use
cleaning solvents or alcohol.
4. Air dry filter before replacing and using
dehumidifier.
NOTE: Clean filter once every two weeks of
operation.

WARNING
Plug Replacement
NOTE: This section only applies to heaters sold or used in Great Britain.
This appliance is supplied with a BS1363 3 pin
plug tted with a fuse. Should the fuse require
replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse
with the proper amp rating. (see Technical
Specications page 2) and approved to BS1362.
In the event the mains plug has to be removed/
replaced for any reason, please note:
IMPORTANT: The wires in the mains lead are
colored in accordance with the following code:
Blue – Neutral Brown – Live
Green/Yellow – Earth
As the colors of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the colored
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal
marked with an N or colored black. The brown
wire must be connected to the terminal marked
with an L or colored red. The green/ yellow wire
must be connected to the earthing terminal which
is marked with an E or with the earth symbol.
NOTE: If a moulded plug is tted and has to
be removed take great care in disposing of the
plug and severed cable, it must be destroyed to
prevent engaging into a socket.
Never connect live or neutral
wires to the earth terminal of
the plug.

Avvio del deumidificatore:
1. Collegare il deumidificatore alla presa di
corrente corretta.
2. Premere il pulsante di alimentazione per
accendere l’unità.
3. Il display digitale mostrerà l’umidità ambiente
della stanza.
4. Scegliere la velocità della ventola: +/-
5. Scegliere l’impostazione di umidità

Impostazioni umidità:
Modalità Continua (CO)
La modalità Continua manterrà l’umidità
relativa al punto costante selezionato.
L’intervallo di impostazione va dal 50%
all’80% di umidità relativa.
Quando l’umidità ambiente è del 3% inferiore
all’impostazione di umidità selezionata, il
compressore si fermerà.
Quando l’umidità ambiente è del 3%
superiore all’impostazione di umidità
selezionata, il compressore ripartirà
e manterrà l’impostazione di umidità
selezionata.
Modalità Automatica (AU)
La modalità Automatica manterrà l’umidità
ambiente costante in base alla temperatura
ambiente del luogo.
Quando la temperatura ambiente è inferiore
di 5 °C, il compressore si spegnerà, mentre
l’unità resta accesa.
Quando la temperatura ambiente è tra 5 °C e
20 °C, lo spazio sarà tenuto automaticamente
al 60% di umidità relativa.
Quando la temperatura ambiente è tra
21 °C e 27 °C, lo spazio sarà tenuto
automaticamente al 55% di umidità relativa.
Quando la temperatura ambiente è più alta di
28 °C, lo spazio sarà tenuto automaticamente
al 50% di umidità relativa.
