WARNINGS

Turnthepoweroffandremovetheplugwhentheapplianceisnotinuseandbeforecleaning.

Alwaysplacetheapplianceonastable,levelsurface.

Batteryhandlingandusage
Remotecontrolbatteries:
y Thebatteriesshouldonlybereplacedbyadults.Donotallowchildrentousetheremotecontrolunless
thebatterycoverisattached.
y Failuretoproperlyalignthebatterypolaritycorrectlycancausedamagetotheremotecontrolandcan
causeafirehazed.

Replace the battery only with the same type. The batteries used in the remote control are two AAA 1.5V batteries
which are accessible and can be replaced.
Installingthebatteriesintheremotecontrol
1. Removethebatterycover.
2. Inserttwobatterieswiththe+andmarks
correctlyaligned.
3. Replacethebatterycover.
Topreventtheremotecontrolfrombeingmisplaced,putitintotheremotecontrolboxoftheappliance
whennotinuse.

INSTALLATION
Thisapplianceisaportableairconditioner,whichcanbemovedfromroomtoroom.
Exhausthoseinstallation
Theexhausthoseandadaptersmustbeinstalledorremoveddependingonusage.
ForAUTOandCOOLmodes Installtheexhausthoseandadapters
ForFANandDEHUMIFICATIONmodes Removetheexhausthoseandadapters
1. Screwtheexhaustandhoseandconnectorsintobothendsoftheexhausthose.

2. Inserttheexhaustconnectorintotheairoutletlocatedatthereartheapplianceuntilaclickisheard.
3. Extendthehoseandscrewtheexhaustadaptertothehoseconnector.
NOTE:Thehosemaybeextendedbutformaximumefficiencyusetheshortestlength.
IMPORTANT:DONOTBENDTHEHOSE.
Installingexhausthoseintothewall
1. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkit.
2. Cutaholeinthewall,usingtheappropriatetoolsandsafetyequipment.
3. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkthelocationforthefourholes.
4. Drillfourholesinthewallandinsertexpansionplugsintheholes.
5. Fixtheexhaustadapteronthewallbyinsertingandtighteningfourscrews.

Plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket.Theappliancewillenterthestandbystate.
TurningON
Press toturntheapplianceon.Press againtoenterthestandbystate.
Modeswitch
RepeatedlypressMODE toselectthedesiredworkingmode:auto,cooling,dehumidificationorfanonly.
NOTE:TheAUTOmodecanonlybeselectedusingtheremotecontrol.
Theindicatorofyourselectedmodewillilluminateorappear.

middlespeedand highspeed.
NOTE:
When isshownontheremotedisplayincoolmode,thefanspeedissamewith highspeed.
Iftheapplianceisindehumidification( )mode,youcannotselectthefanspeed.
Settingthetimer(remotecontrolonly)
ProgrammingthetimerforONwhentheapplianceisOFF. 
Press .Thetimeronindicatorwillflash.
Repeatedlypressorholddown+/tochangethetimeinhalfanhourincrementsupto10hours,and
thenin1hourincrementsupto24hours.
Press toconfirmandthetimeronindicatorwillstopflashing.Thetimerstarts.
Whenthesettimehasbeenreached,theappliancewillturnonautomatically.
ProgrammingthetimerforOFFwhentheapplianceisoperating.



Sleepoperation
Thesleepfunctionadjuststhesettemperatureoftheappliancetothethermalneedsofthebodyfalling
asleep.
Press tooperatethesleepmode.Thesleepindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.
Thesettemperaturewillincrease1°Cafterhalfanhourandafurther1°C(2°F)aft er1hour.
NOTE:Thisfunctionisunavailableinfanonlyanddehumidificationmodes. 
Tocancelthefunction,press .Thesleepindicatorwilldisappearontheremotedisplay.
Regulatingairflowdirection
Movethehorizontallouversdirectlyto
adjusttheairflow.
Lock(remotecontrolonly)
Press+andatthesametimetolockcurrentsettingsandpreventaccidentalchanges.Oncelocked,
remotewi ll notrespondtoanyactions.Thelockindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.
Press+andatthesametimeagaintounlock.Thelockindicatorwill disappearontheremotedisplay.
Changingthetemperaturedisplay(remotecontrolonly)
Inthestandbystate,press
andMODEatthesametimetochangethetemperaturedisplayfromCelsius
toFahrenheitandviceversa.
DRAINAGE
Underhighhumidityconditionsitmaybenecessarytoemptytheinternalwatertank.Whentheinternal
watertankisfullthedisplaywillshow“H8”andtheindicator willflash.
Thecooling/dehumidificationprocesswillstop.
Beforetheapplianceisturnedon,youcaninserttherubberplugtothebottomdrainagepointorattach
thesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint.

Toattachthesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint:
1. Removetherubberplugfromthebottomdrainagepoint.
2. Fixthebracketonthelowerairinletgrillewiththesuppliedscrew.
3. Screwoneendofthedrainhoseoverthedrainagepointandthenclipitwiththehoseclamp.
4. Fixthedrainhoseinthebracket.Clipitwiththehoseclampandattachtherubberplugtotheotherend
ofthedrainhose.
Toemptythewatertankdothefollowing:
1. Switchofftheapplianceandremovetheplugfromthemainssocket.
2. Placeawatertrayonthefloorunderneaththebottomdrainagepoint.
3. Removetherubberplugfromthedrainandletthewaterrunout.

Ifadrainhoseisused,dothefollowing:
1) Removethedrainhosefromthebracket.
2) Removetherubberplugfromoneendofthehose.
3) Putthedrainhoseontothewatertray.
4. Replacetherubberplugordrainhose,plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket,andswitchthe
applianceon.
“H8”wi ll disappearonthedisplay.
CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
Switchoffandunplugtheappliancefromthemainssocketbeforecleaning.
Tomaximisetheefficiencyoftheappliancecleanitregularly.
Cleaningthehousing
Cleanthehousingwithaslightlydampcloth.
Neverusechemicalorabrasivecleaningagents.
Cleaningthefilters
Removethefilter.
Thefiltersshouldbecleanedregularly.Useavacuumcleaner
ortapthefilterslightlytoremoveloosedustanddirtfromthe
filtersandthenrinsethoroughlyunderrunningwater.Dry
thoroughlybeforereplacing.
NOTE:Neverusetheairconditionerwithoutthefilter.

Drainanywaterintheappliancebeforecompletely
operatingtheapplianceonfanonlymodeforafewhours,
tothoroughlydrytheinside.
Cleanthefilter.
Storethepowercordasshown.
Removethebatteriesfromtheremotecontrolandplace
