Thank you for choosing the SteelSeries 7G. This keyboard has been designed
by SteelSeries, a dedicated manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear
including headsets, keyboards, mouse pads, and other accessories. This small
manual supplied with the keyboard is designed to familiarise you with all aspects
of the keyboard, setup and usage, and we hope that you will find it helpful.
The SteelSeries 7G sets a new industry standard for gaming keyboards by
allowing users to perform the most detailed and advanced key combinations to
date. By utilising the most powerful PS/2 buffer system ever created for a gaming
keyboard, the 7G redefines “anti-ghosting” by supporting as many simultaneous
key-press commands as there are keys on the keyboard. The keyboard features
both PS/2 and USB connectors.
The combination of the powerful PS/2 buffer system and 18K gold-plated
mechanical switches means that the SteelSeries 7G offers more Actions Per
Minute than any other keyboard in the world, faster gaming-grade response times
and more than six times the durability of a traditional keyboard.
The SteelSeries 7G keyboard is equipped with audio ports for headphone-in and
microphone-out and features two USB ports. In addition, the keyboard offers
essential gaming features such as the SteelSeries Media Controls, which allow
the user quick access to volume, mute and other audio controls.

To connect keyboard: plug PS/2 connector into appropriate port or use the included USB adapter/Pour

To use the USB hub, connect the USB cable to your PC, and connect your equipment to the USB plugs on

Connect keyboard to computer by inserting jack into appropriate port/Connectez le clavier à l’ordinateur en

correspondiente/Den keyboard an den Computer anschließen indem man den Stecker in den entsprechenden
Port steckt.
Please note: Do not connect the keyboard to USB and PS/2 at the same time. USB ports will only function
when the keyboard is connected to USB. To support pressing all keys simultaneously the keyboard must be
connected through PS/2.

Access the SteelSeries Media Keys by pressing and holding the SteelSeries key in combination with the Media
Keys.
