Use the - + keys to adjust the weight number displayed in the right window
to reach your current weight. The 700T accepts weights from 50 to 400 lbs.
(23 to 182 kg). After five seconds, if no key has been pressed, the treadmill
will accept 160 lbs. (73 kg) as the default weight and revert to the Run
Mode. If you do not press the START/ENTER key within three seconds of
changing the weight value, the treadmill will automatically accept your new
weight value and revert to the Run Mode. The treadmill uses your weight,
speed, and % grade to determine how many calories you burn during
a workout.
After adjusting the weight display, the center display window will flash the
instruction PRESS START. Press the START/ENTER key to accept your
new weight reading.
NOTE: For an accurate calorie count, you must correctly set your weight
(including clothing).
9. Hold the handrails while you step onto the running belt and begin walking.
10. Press the STOP key at any time to stop your workout. Press STOP once to
pause your workout, twice to review your workout information and end
your workout session, or three times to clear the display and the current
workout information. As you press STOP once, the treadmill will return to
0% incline and a five minute countdown will begin in the left display.
Resume your workout within the five minutes by pressing the
START/ENTER key. The treadmill will return to the same incline, speed and
time where you left off.
NOTE: If pressing STOP once does not pause your workout it is probably
turned off. Read Pause On/Off Mode in Setting Operation Options
in the Setup and Assembly chapter to learn how to change the
pause default.
Stopping the Treadmill
The STOP key may be pressed one, two or three times to accomplish the
following:
Press STOP once to pause your workout. The belt will stop, and the elevation
will return to 0%, but all workout settings and data will remain in memory for
five minutes. Press the START/ENTER key to continue your workout at the
speed and elevation where you left off. If no key has been pressed during the
five minute pause, workout data will be cleared and the display will change to
