Reader) Reader Update Tool V1.0 is a fast and simple way to update the firmware of Lexar

LRW450U or LRW500U Reader to the latest version. This update will allow the reader to read

Lexar’s latest SD3.0 cards (up to 160MB/s read/write) and microSD3.0 cards.

Getting Started

After connecting the Lexar LRW450U/LRW500U Reader to your computer, double-click the Lexar

LRW450U Reader Update Tool V1.0 or Lexar LRW500U Reader Update Tool V1.0 (executable) file to run

the software (Fig. 1).

Setting up your reader:

Double-click on the Update Tool file to perform the upgrade. Please read the software service

agreement on the welcome screen carefully. If you accept the service agreement, follow the steps

below to continue the process:

1. Click “I Agree” checkbox, then click Next

If the firmware of the card reader is not the latest version, you may click “Start” to proceed.

If it is the latest version, the firmware upgrade will not be processed.

2. When the upgrade is completed, “Update Successful” message will be shown.
