Enduro Engineering MTB User manual

  • I've reviewed the installation instructions for the Enduro Engineering Deflector arms. This document outlines the steps for mounting the arms to either the lever perches or directly to the handlebar of your MTB or mini bike, securing them with socket head bolts, and installing the EE Evo2 plastic roost deflector. I'm ready to answer questions about the process.
  • Can I mount the deflector arms to the lever perches of any bike?
What size Allen wrench is needed to tighten the socket head bolts?
What type of screws are used to mount the EE Evo2 plastic roost deflector?
MTB/ MINI BIKE DEFLECTOR ARMS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Determine whether you want the aluminum arm to go above the handlebar or below. Make sure you have clearance for
controls. Also determine whether you will mount to the lever perches (MTB ONLY) or straight to the handlebar with the provided
caps. (MTB or Mini Bike)
NOTE: Not all bikes will allow you to mount to the perches.
2. If you are mounting to the lever perches, using the correct wrench for your bike remove just the caps off of the perches (FIG 1)
and set the caps and the mounting bolts to the side.
3. Mount the aluminum arm with the composite mount facing outward. Using the provided socket head bolts thread the bolts
through the arm and into either the provided aluminum caps (FIG 2), or into the lever perches. (FIG 3)
4. Using a 4mm allen wrench, tighten the socket head bolts making sure the deflector mount is in the position you prefer. (FIG 4)
5. Repeat process on opposite side.
6. You will have need to have purchased the EE Evo2 plastic roost deflector in the color of your choice. Mount those using the
provided Phillips head screws. (FIG 5)
7. Have Fun and enjoy your next ride!
