USING YOUR WATER URN

Before first use, please follow these instructions:

1.Remove all packing material and please check carefully to ensure that

your water urn is in good condition. It must not have any cracks on the

unit and no damage to the cord/plug.

2.You must confirm that the voltage indicated on the water urn corresponds

with the voltage in your home.

3.Fill the water urn to the “MAX” level. Boil. Discard the water. Repeat this

process twice.

The Urn has a built-in automatic safety shut-off switch, and the

appliance will automatically turn again after the element has “ON”

cooled down, or sufficient cold water has been added.

The hot water can cause severe burns, so be sure to use the Urn

steady level surface and keep out of the reach of children. on a

NOTE: ENSURE THAT THE LID IS SECURELY CLOSED DURING

USE.

After filling, plug the Urn into an AC power wall socket and switch Water

. The yellow light Keep warm” will turn on. “ON” “

Lock the lid securely onto the Water Urn once the Urn has been filled.

Open the lid and fill the Water Urn with cold water to the level. “MAX”

BOIL DRY PROTECTION

When the appliance is switched on without water inside, it will cutoff

automatically to prevent the appliance from burnt out. To reset it,

follow this instruction:

1. Unplug the power cord from power outlet , empty the water inside

and let it cool down entirely.

2. Upside down the main body, and you will see a little plastics button

in the bottom cover. Press gently until a “Click sound was heard. ”

CARE AND CLEANING

Before cleaning, unplug your water urn and let it cool down.

1. The outside:Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.

-Do not use abrasives - they will scratch the plastic surfaces.

-Do not use scouring powder, or any other cleaning products

as they may discolor your water urn.

2. The inside:Wipe with sodium bicarbonate on a damp cloth. Rinse

thoroughly. Even though your water urn comes with a filter,you still

need to clean the inside (and the filter) regularly.

3. In hard water areas, it is necessary to remove scale, and water deposit

markings in the water urn as this can cause premature operation of the

boil dry switch. There are various water urn cleaners/water urn descalers

which remove scale and markigs available from supermarkets,pharmacies,

and other stores.

4. Fill your Water urn half way with cold water.

5. Add between 150-300ml of ordinary white vinegar.

6. Allow the Water urn to boil for 10-15 minutes.

7. Empty contents.

8. Half fill with water and boil again, this time without vinegar. Empty the

contents and rinse.

DESCALING

1. When limescale builds up on the heating element, buy a suitable descaler

and descale your water urn.

2. Limescale makes your water urn take longer to boil and can make the

element burn out. After descaling, boil with fresh water several times and

discard. Clean any descaler off the water urn - it can damage the parts.

3. Some regions of the country have chalky water. This makes boiled water

look cloudy and leaves a deposit on the side of the water urn. This is normal

but can be removed with regular cleaning.

4. Discoloration of the internal part of the water urn due to water conditions

in your area will not be regarded as a malfunction.

5. It is recommended that you clean your water urn regularly.
