Safety and Maintenance
Please follow the instructions below before the use of this mobile
phone.
z Please read this instruction manual carefully before your operation.
z Please make sure to power off your mobile phone onboard. If the alarm or
calendar function of your mobile phone may power on the device
automatically, please double check and disable them before getting
onboard.
z Stay away from the heat source and high-voltage environment during the
use of the phone, such as around the electric appliances or electric cooking
devices.Please use your phone under the normal temperature. The
ambiance temperature which is higher than 55 or lower than -10 may
damage your phone.
z Be cautious to hazard of fire. Please power off your phone when you are
near to the inflammable environment such as gas station and bunker.
z Never use your phone when driving. Please do not place your phone above
the airbag or in the area that can be reached by the inflated airbag.
Otherwise, the phone may have strong force during the inflation of airbag
and causes severe injury to you.
z Only the standard battery, charger and accessories that are certified by our
company can be used. We bear no responsibility for any damage that is
resulted from the use of battery,charger and accessories from any other
third party.
z Do not disassemble the phone by yourself.
z The phone may cause interference when getting near to the other
electronic devices. Keep away from the electronic devices such as
television, radio, personal computer, pacemaker and hearing aids. Do not
place the phone near to credit card or magnetic field. In the hospital or other
special condition, please follow the specific regulations in using your phone.
z Do not exert mechanical vibration or shake to your phone. Do not touch the
screen with edge tool.
z The use of phone case or plastic cover may damage the surface coating of
your phone.
z Do not use the solute such as benzene, thinner or alcohol to clean the outer
case of the phone. Avoid contact with the erosive chemicals or detergent.
Only tenderly clean your phone with clean and soft cloth.
z Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, or excessive smoke and dust.
z Maintain your phone dry. Do not use your phone in the humid environment
such as bathroom. The phone is not waterproof and should stay away from
rain or moisture.
z If your phone has an external antenna, please try to avoid any touch with
the antenna. Only the original antenna can be used. The use of uncertified
antenna may cause damage to your phone.
z When unplugging the charger from your phone, please tightly hold the
connector and pull it out. Avoid pulling of the power cable.
z Please do not use the phone as the only communication tool in emergency,
such as medical assistance.

z Place your phone out of the reach of children to avoid any danger.
Please follow the instructions below in the use of battery
z Please carefully read the instructions and surface indication of the battery
before use.
z Charge the battery in the cool and ventilated place indoors. The excessive
temperature during charging may result in heating, smoking, burning,
distortion, or even explosion of the battery.
z There are special protective circuit and devices in the battery. Do not
disassemble the battery without permission. Otherwise a short circuit may
occur or the electrolyte may leak. The entry of electrolyte into the eyes may
cause blindness. In such case, please rinse your eyes immediately with
clean water (never knead your eyes) and ask for medical assistance.
z Do not squeeze the battery and avoid mechanical vibration or shake of
battery. Avoid short circuit of the battery; otherwise the battery or
connected component may be damaged. The short circuit may be caused
by the connection of anode and cathode of the battery by metal objects
such as coin, pen or clip. Therefore, do not place the battery together with
the metal objects.
z Please maintain the cleanness of the metal contact and battery.
z Do not use the damaged or exhausted battery.
z Replace the battery when it cannot meet the requirement of performance.
The battery can be charged for hundred of times before getting exhausted.
The battery is a consumable, of which the capacity will gradually get
reduced along with the use, though it can get through hundreds of cycle of
charging and discharging. When you find the life of the battery (talking time
and standby time) significantly decreased, please replace it with a new
battery.
z Avoid the exposure of the battery in the direct sunlight or excessive smoke
and dust. Do not use the phone in a high-humidity environment such as the
bathroom. The phone is not waterproof and should be avoided from rain or
moisture.
z Do not put the battery in a place with excessive heat or cold. The ambiance
temperature which is over 55 or below -10 will influence the
performance of the battery.
z Do not throw the battery into fire,for that may cause explosion.
z Do not put the battery into water to avoid short circuit in the battery, which
may cause heating, smoking, distortion, damage or even explosion of the
battery.
z Dispose of the battery properly according to the regulation (if recycle). The
exhausted battery should not be treated as a daily waste, to avoid explosion
and pollution.
z The battery should be charged with the specific charger only. Do not charge
the battery continuously for more than 12 hours.
z Place your phone out of the reach of children to avoid any danger.
Please follow the instructions below in the use of the charger.
z Please carefully read the instructions and surface indication of the charger
before use.
z Do not disassemble or modify the charger. Do not use the charger in case
the power cable is broken; Otherwise there might be the risk of electric
shock, fire, or damage of charger.

z Do not touch the charger with a wet hand. In case the charger is in contact
with water or other liquid, please cut off the power supply immediately.
z Avoid shortcircuit of the charger. Avoid mechanical vibration or shake of the
charger. Avoid exposure of the charger in the direct sunshine. Do not use
the charger in the humid environment such as the bathroom. This device is
not waterproof and should stay away from rain or moisture.
z Do not use the charger in adjacent to the electric appliances such as
television and radio.
z Hold the charger when unplugging. The pulling of power cable may result in
damage of it.
z Place your phone out of the reach of children to avoid any danger.
z
Please follow the instructions below in the use of the earphone*
z Please keep the earphone volume within an appropriate range; otherwise it
may harm your hearing.
z Do not drag the earphone line hard; otherwise it may break apart.
z Use of earphone at high temperature and high humidity environment can
damage the earphone or shorten its life.
z Do not use the earphone when you are driving or riding, because it may
lead to traffic accident.
z Please place the earphone where the child can not access to prevent from
danger.
z *The earphone might be provided as accessory at cost.

z Mobile Phone Security
Screen Lock
To avoid unintended operations while traveling around, please click
Device is unlocked” bar in Today interface, the screen will
display “ Device is locked”. This indicates the screen is locked.At
Locked status, the phone will not respond to any screen or key
pressing operation. When there is a call coming, you can press Send
key
to answer, or press End key to reject.
Unlock:
If the background light is on, press left soft key or click Unlock button
at the left bottom corner of the screen, follow the prompt, click
Unlock again, the phone should be unlocked.
If the background light is off, you need first press down the power key
to light the screen, then press left soft key or click Unlock button at
the left bottom corner of the screen, follow the prompt, click Unlock
again, then the phone should be unlocked.
Set Locking Password
There is much personal information in the phone, and some of them
are very private. To prevent unauthorized access, you may set a
locking password. If the phone is not used after certain period of time,
it can be access only after input the right password.
1 Click
Settings”.
2 In Personal optional card, click Lock icon .
3 Select a password option.
Simple PIN
Strong alphanumeric (complex combination of letters and
numbers)
4 Set the idle time. If no operation was performed during the
settled time, password will be required to access the device
again.

5 Click Hint to enter the reminder information in case you forget
the password.
6 Click OK to save the settings.
Warning: Please remember the password carefully. If you forget the
password, you may remember it via the hint, otherwise you must
reboot the phone, and all data in the memory will be lost.

Warning! Improper usage of the battery may cause fire.
Disassemble, extrude, stab, short-circuit the battery, or put it in
fire or water are forbidden. Do NOT dissemble the battery to fix it
by yourself. Please follow local specifications for battery
disposal.
Loading the battery:
1 Push the clip of battery cover upward, pull out the back cover,
and then remove the battery cover.

2 Insert the lower part of battery into the lower part of the battery
compartment, press the upper part of the battery gently to place
it into the compartment.
3 Insert the lower part of battery cover in to the lower part of the
battery compartment, press the upper part of the battery cover
gently to fix the battery cover.
Removing the battery
Hold down the Power key till a prompt pop up, which says ‘Would you
like to shut down the device?’, select ‘Yes’ to shut down the device.
1 Push the clip of battery cover upwards, pull out the back cover,
and remove the battery cover.
2 Take the protruding part of the battery to take it out.
Charging the battery:
If the battery to use is a new one, or it has not been used for long time,
the first charging should last 8 hours. If the battery is running low, a
pop up icon on the screen will indicate the battery is low. Please
charge you mobile phone in time. If you are not going to be using the
phone for an extended period of time, you should remove the battery.
Power Adapter
The adapter is used for providing power to mobile phone, and also
can be used for battery charging. When you are not using the adapter,
please disconnect it from the power socket.
1 Connect the phone to the adapter port;

2 Then connect the adapter to an AC socket for charging.
Charging indicator:
During charging – green light on;
Charging finished – green light off.
Earphone
Lineate earphone can link with mobile phone,which make it
convenience for you to answer or hang up a call and to enjoy
music.
Please link the earphone with the mobile phone, make sure the
metal side of the earphone’s port face upwards:
Stylus
There are 4 different operating methods of the stylus:
Single click click the screen once can open a window or select an
item.
Drag keep the stylus contact with the screen, then drag it to
select text or image. You can use drag operation to
select multiple choices in a list.
Click and hold click an item and hold to pop up a shortcut menu for
current item.

Double click Some applications support double click operation. Such
as in the game solitaire, double click a card can
automatically move it to the specific position.
Using Micro SD Storage Card
There is an extension slot in device, compatible with series of Micro
SD cards, which are mainly used for file and data backup and
storage.
Insert the storage card:
1 Hold your device tight. Push the card into the slot. Please note
the metal side of the Micro SD card is the backside. If the card is
inserted tightly, no part of the card should be left outside.
Removing the storage card:
1 Hold you device, and press the card head inward, the card will
pop out automatically.
2 Take the card out from the slot gently.
Note: At the time when you reboot, reset the phone or upgrading the
software, please copy content of storage card to PC and take out the
storage card to prevent file lost in the card.
Inserting and Removing SIM Card
You should insert SIM card before the first use of your mobile phone
Please be careful when inserting or removing the card, it can be
easily damaged by scratch or bend.

Inserting the SIM card:
1 Hold down the Power key till a prompt pop up, which says
‘Would you like to shut down the device?’, select ‘Yes’ to shut
down the device.
2 Take out the battery, and then insert the SIM card into the slot.
Please pay attention to the direction of SIM card (notch at left up
corner).
3 Load the battery, and close the cover.
Note: You may need to input the PIN code if the SIM card is new.
The normal length of a PIN code is 4-8 digitals, provided by SIM
card supplier.If you input wrong SIM card passwords 3 times in
succession, the SIM card will be locked and could not be used.
In this case, please contact your SIM card service provider for
decoding. Please do not try to decode by yourself, otherwise the
SIM card may permanent disabled.
Removing the SIM card:
Before removing the SIM card, please switch off mobile function and
set the Flying mode to avoid data damage in the SIM card.
1 Close all running applications, and then click the signal icon on
the right upper corner of the window, select Wireless Manager
and disable mobile function, then hold down Power key to shut
down the device.
2 Unload the battery, and then push out the SIM card along the
slot.
Tip: If there is no SIM card in the phone, please switch off mobile
function to save energy.
First Time to Use
Please follow the instructions below before using the device:
1 Insert SIM card. This is necessary only when you need wireless
data transmission or voice services.

2 Install the battery, please refer the above section.
3 Connect the adapter to your mobile phone, and plug another end
of the adapter into the junction box of power supply.
4 Please hold down the power key until the mobile phone is
switched on and the screen start display.
5 Please follow the instructions of the welcome wizard application,
operate and setup step by step.
6 First, click the screen to perform screen adjustment. Follow the
instructions on the screen to adjust, use stylus tip to click center
of the cross.
7 After the adjustment, start the Stylus tutorial. After you finished
the tutorial, click Next button at the right lower part of the
window.
8 In Pop Up Menu window, operate according the instructions on
the screen.
9 In Date and Time window, click drop down button behind the
option. You can select or change the time zone, date and time of
your city, then click Next button.

10 When you finished setup of the welcome wizard, click the
screen to display Today interface.
Note: For different environment and different individual habit,
the default factory setting may not be the best choice. You can
adjust the settings in Settings/System interface.
Turn On/Off of the Device
Turn the device on:
Mobile phone is in Off status and the battery is not empty - press
and hold Power key can turn on the phone in correct way.
Mobile phone is in Off status but the battery is low – please
connect the phone with a charger and charge about 2 minutes, then
touching Reset key gently using the stylus, or press and hold the
Power key to turn the mobile phone on.
Turn off the device:
Press and hold Power key, an “are you sure to turn off the
device?” message will appear. Choose Yes to turn off the phone
completely, receiving or making calls and other functions cannot be
used in Off status.
Turn On/Off of the Screen
Turn the screen on:
If the phone is on and the background light is off, press Power
key at the left side of the phone can light the screen.

Note: Please make sure the screen is not locked. If the screen is
locked and the background light is off, you can light the screen
by pressing the Power key.
Turn off the screen
Press Power key to turn off screen display when it is on.
Tip: You can set the idle time for phone to auto-off in
Setup/Power option. This mode can save battery energy and
prolong standby or talking time of the battery.
Tip: To avoid turn on the device accidentally, please lock the
phone when you are carrying it.
Power settings:
1 Click
settings”, then click the “System -> Power” icon;
2 In Power window, click “Turn Off setting”, select auto off time for
“Using Built-in Battery”

3 Click OK button to save the settings.
Enable/Disable Mobile Phone function
Enable mobile function:
Click
, then select Wireless Manager in the pop up menu.
After the mobile function is enabled, an
icon will appear at right
upper corner on the screen.
Disable mobile function:
Click
, then select Wireless Manager in the pop up menu.
After the mobile function is disabled, an
icon will appear at right
upper corner on the screen.
Warning: In circumstances where no mobile phone is allowed to
use, you must disable mobile function as instructed above, then
press Power key to turn off screen display of your phone.
Input the PIN code
You can enable mobile service after the SIM card is inserted.
Normally, there is a pre-defined PIN (Personal Identification Number)
code for the SIM card, provided by network service provider.
1 Click

2 Select Menu ->Options ->Phone, check the box ‘Require PIN
when phone is used’, and then input the PIN number provided by
you mobile service provider.
3 Click , if you input wrong PIN numbers 3 times in
succession, the SIM card will be locked. In this case, please
contact with your network service provider. Trying to decode by
yourself may result in permanent disable of the SIM card.
