Simplicity WALKBEHIND MOWER, SNAPPER 7800829 7800830 7800832 7.25/22 SP is a self-propelled mower with a variety of features to make lawn care easier. With its 3-in-1 capabilities, you can choose to mulch, bag, or side-discharge your grass clippings. The single-point cutting height adjust lever makes it easy to adjust the cutting height to your desired level. The mower also features a battery charge port for electric start models, making it easy to keep the battery charged.

3-in-1: Convert from mulching to bagging to side-discharge:
Unpack the mower
• Cut all four corners of the box from top to bottom.
• Remove all packing materials from the mower.
• Locate and identify the items included with the mower.
Raise the handle assembly
• Loosen, but do not remove, the knobs (A, Figure 1)
on both sides of the upper handle.
• Unfold the upper handle so that it is aligned with the
lower handle, and tighten the upper knobs.
• Remove the handle knobs, washers and carriage bolts
from the lower handle (B).
• Raise the lower handle, aligning it with one of the
three sets of holes in the handle bracket. (Most users
will prefer the middle position). Replace the hardware,
tightening securely.
Set Up the starter rope handle
• Squeeze the blade control (A, Figure 2) against the
drive control (B). NOTE: The blade control and drive
control can be operated from either side.
• Pull the starter rope handle (C) out of the engine to
the rope guide (D). Hook the starter rope into the rope
guide (it might be a tight fit).
Charge the battery
(Electric Start Models)
• Plug the battery charger connector (A, Figure
3) into the charge port on the underside of the
control console.
• Plug the charger into a standard 120-volt outlet
(B). Charge for a period of 12-24 hours.
Add oil and fuel
• Move the mower outside to a flat, level surface.
• Remove the oil fill cap (A, Figure 4). Add the entire contents of the
supplied oil container to the engine. Replace the oil fill cap.
IMPORTANT Mower is shipped without oil in engine.
Failure to add oil before starting engine will result in
engine damage.
• Remove the fuel fill cap (B). Following the three-step instructions on
the FreshStart
®
card, snap the fuel preserver cartridge into the bottom
of the fuel fill cap.
• Add clean, fresh, UNLEADED fuel with a minimum of 87 octane,
leaving one inch of space from the top of the tank for fuel expansion.
NOTE: Fuel blends containing more than 10% ethanol are not
recommended.
IMPORTANT Fuel tank holds less than 1/2 gallon.
IMPORTANT DO NOT mix oil with fuel.
IMPORTANT DO NOT use E85 fuel.
• Replace the fuel fill cap, and wipe up any spills.
Final preparation
• Move the single-point cutting height adjust lever (A, Figure 5) or
indvidual levers, to the desired cutting height.
• Set the mower to mulch, bag, or discharge. (See 3-in-1 instructions
below.)

odorless, colorless, poison gas. Breathing carbon
monoxide can cause nausea, fainting, or death.
Operate this product ONLY outdoors.
Keep exhaust gas from entering a confined area through
windows, doors, ventilation intakes or other openings.
DO NOT operate this product inside any building or
enclosure, even if windows and doors are open.
DANGER
Fuel stabilizer is a hazardous chemical.
IF SWALLOWED, call a physician immediately.
Fuel stabilizer contains:
2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (128-39-2) and
aliphatic petroleum distillate (64742-47-8).
1. For mulching:
• Leave the mulching cover and the
installed mulching plug in place (Figure 6).
2. To convert to bagging:
• Lift the rear door and remove the
installed mulching plug (Figure 7).
• Holding the rear door open, attach the
grass bag to the rear of the mower
(Figure 8).
• Make sure the hooks on both sides of
the bag frame hook onto the rear
door rod (Figure 9).
• Release the rear door (it will rest on top
of the grass bag).
3. To convert to side discharge:
• Make sure the mulching plug is installed
in the rear of the mower, and the grass
bag is removed.
• Lift the mulching cover, and install
the side discharge deflector onto the
mower deck (Figure 10).
• Make sure the deck tabs stick up through
the locking slots (Figure 11).
• Release the mulching cover (it will rest
on top of the discharge deflector).

de la tondeuse (Figure 10).
• Vérifier que les onglets du plateau passent à
travers des fentes de verrouillage (Figure 11).
• Relâcher le couvercle de déchiquetage (il
se déposera sur le dessus du déflecteur de
décharge).

Déballer la tondeuse
• Couper les quatre coins de la boîte de haut en bas.
• Retirer tout le matériel d'emballage de la tondeuse.
• Localiser et identifier les articles inclus avec la tondeuse.
Soulever la poignée
• Desserrer, mais ne pas enlever les boutons (A, figure 1) sur les deux
côtés de la poignée supérieure.
• Déplier la poignée supérieure afin qu'elle soit alignée avec la poignée
inférieure, puis serrer les boutons supérieurs.
• Retirer les boutons de poignée, les rondelles et les boulons de transport
de la poignée inférieure (B).
• Lever la poignée inférieure en l’alignant sur l’un des trois ensembles de
trous des supports de la poignée. (la plupart des usagers préfèrent la
position du milieu). Replacer la visserie en serrant bien.
Mise en place de la poignée du cordon du
démarreur
• Serrer la commande de lame (A, Figure 2) contre la commande
d’entraînement (B). REMARQUE: La commande de lame et la
commande d’entraînement peuvent être actionnées d’un côté comme
de l’autre.
• Tirer sur la poignée du cordon du démarreur (C) du moteur au guide du
cordon (D). Accrocher le cordon du démarreur dans le guide du cordon
(l’insertion peut être serrée).
Recharge de la batterie
(Modèles à démarrage électrique)
• Brancher le connecteur du chargeur de batterie (A, figure 3)
dans le point d’accès de recharge sous la console de
commande.
• Brancher le chargeur dans une prise régulière 120 volts (B).
Charger pendant 12 à 24 heures.
IMPORTANT Le réservoir de carburant contient moins de 1/2 gallon.
IMPORTANT NE PAS mélanger l’huile avec du carburant.
IMPORTANT NE PAS utiliser du carburant E85.
Remplissage d'huile et de carburant
• Déplacer la tondeuse à l'extérieur sur une surface plane
et de niveau.
• Retirer le bouchon de remplissage de l’huile (A, Figure
4). Ajouter toute l'huile contenue dans le récipient du
moteur. Replacer le capuchon de remplissage d'huile.
IMPORTANT La tondeuse est livrée sans huile dans
le moteur. Omettre d'ajouter de l'huile avant le
démarrage du moteur entraînera des dommage
à celui-ci.
• Retirer le capuchon de remplissage de carburant (B).
En suivant les instructions en trois étapes sur la carte
FreshStart
®
, insérer la cartouche de préservation de
carburant dans le fond du capuchon de remplissage de
carburant.
• Ajouter du carburant SANS PLOMB neuf et propre
ayant un octane minimal de 87 en laissant un espace
de un (1) pouce depuis le haut du réservoir pour l'ex-
pansion du carburant. REMARQUE: Les mélanges de
carburant contenant plus de 10% d'éthanol ne sont
pas recommandés.
• Reposer le capuchon de remplissage de carburant et
essuyer toutes éclaboussures.
Préparation finale
• Déplacer le levier de réglage de la hauteur de coupe à
point simple (A, figure 5) ou les leviers individuels, à la
hauteur de coupe désirée.
• Régler la tondeuse pour déchiquetage, ensachage ou
éjection. (Voir les instructions 3-en-1 ci-dessous.)
