EXPLANATION OF SIGNS
The triangle containing a lightning symbol is used to indicate whenever your health is at risk (due to
electrocution, for example).
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handling or operating the appliance.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all safety and operating instructions prior to using the device for the rst time and keep them for future
reference.
All warnings on the device and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
Unplug the device from the wall outlet before cleaning. The device should be cleaned only with a dry cloth.
Avoid solvents or other cleaning detergents.
Do not use the device near water for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a
wet basement, or near a swimming pool and the like.
Do not place or mount the device on an unsuitable and/or unstable stand, tripod, bracket or table. The de-
vice might fall and injure people and/or get seriously damaged. Install the unit only as recommended in this
manual.
Ventilation slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation by
avoiding overheating. These openings must not be blocked nor covered. The device should not be built into
a closed installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided. There should be free
space of at least 20cm and an opening behind the appliance.
The appliance should be operated only from AC 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz mains power.
The appliance is a class II apparatus with double isolation and no protective earth terminal.
Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed
upon or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles and the point
where they exit from the appliance.
For added protection of the device during a thunderstorm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long
periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the cable system. This will prevent damage to
the appliance due to lightning and power-line surges.
Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or integral convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk
of re or electric shock.
Never push objects of any kind into the appliance through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage
points or short-circuit parts that could result in a re or electric shock. Never spill liquids of any kind on the
appliance.
Do not attempt to service the appliance yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dange-
rous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel.
When spare parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specied by the
manufacturer or that the spare parts have the same specications as the original parts. Unauthorized substi-
tutions may result in re, electric shock or other hazards.
Keep away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including ampli-
ers) that produce heat.
DISCONNECT DEVICE
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.
IMPORTANT
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specied herein may result in
hazardous radiation exposure.

The built-in CD players contain a class 1 laser. DO NOT STARE INTO THE BEAM!

1. EJECT button: Press to open or close the CD tray. If a CD is playing, stop the play first and then press the
button to open the tray.
2. CD button: Use this button to select the CD player as the playback source. The playback source can only be
changed in Pause mode.
3. USB button: Use this button to select the USB player as the playback source. The playback source can only
be changed in Pause mode.
4. TIME button: The TIME button switches the time display between three available sources: TIME ELAPSED on
the track shows how much time has currently gone by since the play button was pressed.TIME REMAINING
ON THE DISC will count the time remaining on the entire discTIME REMAINING ON TRACK counts down the
time that is left before the end of the track.
5. FOLDER button: This button allows you to browse through folders when you are in USB or in CD mode.
6. DISPLAY: Indicates the track/number/time/remaining time/Pitch/continue/Single.
7. PITCH CONTROL: Use this fader to increase or decrease the speed of the track.
8. PITCH BEND – BUTTON: The pitch will drop while the – button is pressed and return to the original pitch
when it is released.
9. PITCH BEND + BUTTON: The pitch will automatically rise when the + button is pressed and return to the
original pitch when it is released.
10. PITCH RANGE: Press this button to adjust the range of the Pitch fader.
11. SEARCH/SCRATCH BUTTON: Press the button to switch the function of the jog dial to SEARCH, PITCH BEND
or SCRATCH mode. When the indicator LED is off, dial the jog for Pitch Bend function. When the Indicator
LED is light, turn the jog wheel to enter SCRATCH mode. When the indicator LED is flashing, dial the jog
wheel for fast forward and backwards search.
12. SINGLE: Pressing the SINGLE button activates the SINGLE mode. In this mode, the player will play one
song and then stop. Press the button again to activate the CONTINUOUS mode causing the unit to play
continuously. After the last track, the unit will return to the first track on the disc and continue to play.
13. JOG & SHUTTLE WHEELS
Shuttle: Use the dial to select the scanning direction and speed. The disc is scanned in the forward di-
rection when the shuttle dial is turned clockwise from neutral position, in the reverse direction when the
shuttle dial is turned counterclockwise. The scanning speeds up when the shuttle dial is turned faster.
Jog: In Pause mode, if you turn the jog, the point at which the sound is being produced moves by a number
of frames corresponding to the number of clicks. Clockwise rotation moves the point forwards, counterclo-
ckwise rotation moves the point backwards. In Play mode, the jog increases or decreases the speed of the
song.

14. REPEAT: Press the REPEAT button once to activate the function and repeat the selected track. Press RE-
PEAT again to activate the REPEAT ALL function and repeat all tracks on the CD. Press the REPEAT button
again to deactivate the repeat function.
15. PROG BUTTON: In Stop mode, you can program several tracks (20 tracks max.):
Press the STOP button to enter into stop mode
Press the PROG button to enter into program mode
Choose a track via the Skip track buttons and press the PROG button to save your choice.
Use once more the Skip Track buttons to choose the next track you want to listen to and press the PROG
button to save your choice.
Repeat the operation to select up to 20 tracks you want to listen to.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback
16. RELOOP BUTTON: Use this button to start the last saved loop. To finish the loop, press the RELOOP button
again.
17. SEARCHBUTTONS: Lets you browse in forward or backward direction through the track.
18. LOOP IN BUTTON: Sets the starting point of your loop.
19. LOOP OUT BUTTON: Sets the end point of your seamless loop and starts the playback of the loop. Press
again to exit the loop.
20. DSP/REVERSE: Press the Reverse button to play your track in reverse direction. Press again to cancel
reverse play.
21. DSP/BRAKE: In play mode: press the brake button first and then the Play/Pause button. The operation
changes slowly from Play to Pause. Press the Play/Pause button again to exit this function.
22. HOTCUE 1-3 BUTTONS: Use these 3 buttons to set Cue points.
23. DELETE button: Hold the DELETE button and press CUE 1 – 3 which is storing the Cue point you wish to
delete.
24. CUE BUTTON: Press the Cue button during play to return to the position where the play has started.
25. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON: Each time you press the Play/Pause button, the operation changes from Play to
Pause or from Pause to Play.
26. USB PORT: Connect your USB drive containing the MP3 files.
27. TRACK BUTTON: Skip from track to track for folder navigation.
FRONT VIEW
1. DISC TRAY
2. BT SYNC: Press this button to search for pairing devices. The LED flashes during search. Select ULTRA-STA-
TION in your Bluetooth list. The LED remains lit when pairing has been successful.
3. CUE LEVEL CONTROL: Adjusts the cue volume
4. HEADPHONE JACK: Connect a headphone to this socket to monitor the sound.
MIXING CONSOLE
1.  INPUT TOGGLE SWITCH: Assign an input source such as CD/USB, LINE/PHONO or
Bluetooth to the channel.
2. MASTER LEVEL: Adjusts the master level output signal.
3. CH1 & CH2 GAIN CONTROL: Adjusts the level of CH1 & CH2
4. HIGH FADER 1-2: Adjusts the high frequencies of channel 1 & 2
5. MID FADER 1-2: Adjusts the mid frequencies of channel 1 & 2
6. LOW FADER 1-2: Adjusts the low frequencies of channel 1 & 2
7. BALANCE VOLUME: Adjusts the level of the balanced XLR output
8. BOOTH VOLUME: Adjusts the Booth output level
9. MIC LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of the microphone
10. CUE/MIX/PGM CONTROL: Turn counterclockwise to monitor the assigned Cue
signal. Turn to the center position to monitor the CUE MIX. Turn clockwise to
monitor PGM output.
11. CUE FOR CH1-2: Switch to CH1 or CH2 to listen to channel 1 or 2 in the Cue
channel.

12. CHANNEL FADER: Adjusts the audio level on the corresponding channel.
13. LED METER: Indicates the master output level.
14. REPLACEABLE CROSSFADER: Achieves a clean transition between the two input channels. In the left posi-
tion, only channel 1 is audible. In the right position, only channel 2 is audible. In the center position, both
channels are audible.
CONNECTIONS
15. AC IN: Connection cable to the mains outlet.
16. POWER BUTTON: Press to turn the unit on or off.
17. BOOTH OUTPUT: Connect this output to a booth monitoring system
18. XLR output: Connect this low impedance XLR output to a PA system or powered monitors.
19. MASTER OUTPUT: Use a standard RCA lead to connect this output to a speaker or amplifier system.
20. REC OUTPUT: Use a standard RCA lead to connect this output to a recording device.
21. INPUT: Connect a line level device such as a tape deck or additional CD player.
22. LINE/PHONO INPUT SWITCH: Set the switch to LINE or PHONO depending if you wish to connect either a
line level or a phono level equipment to your channel input. If PHONO is selected, the signal is fed directly
into the high-quality RIAA phono pre-amplifiers. Line level sources would overload the sensitive phono
pre-amps and the sound would be very bad. SO, always make sure to toggle the line/phono switch to line
before you connect line sources.
