louver forward or backward,

In humid weather°excess water may cause the BASE PANto

remove the DRAIN CAP and secure the DRAIN PIPE to the rear hole

of the BASE PAN,

2, Remove#_eair filter from the front grille assembly by pulling the air fiber up sl[ightty,

3, C_eanthe fit_terwi_ warm, soapy water below 40°C (104° F)

4, Ri#se and gient_yshake the water from _e filter and let it dry before irep_acingit,

CAUTtON: DO NOT operate,'the air condi_oner without a filter because dirt and li_twill clog it and reduce

performance

track and fasten with 4 Type Cscrews..(Fig 2)

10, Place Air Conditioner in win_w o_ning. It should sit on

Bracket assembly so that Curtain Frame and cabinet Side

Gui_s are against top and side win_w iambs Mate front

11. Drill 1/8inch holes in window track through the existing

holes on BaseGuide. Screw 4 Type Cscrews through the

holes. (Fig. 8}

13, Dkfi_l1/8inch hole in window iamb to align with the exis#ng

NOTE: Check all seais and plug any remaining air gaps with a

suitable wea_he_r_f caulk,

14. If this is a casement 'windowinstallation, pr_eed to
