Your VacuWare® FreshContainers
TM
Forget about all of the plastic containers you have in your kitchen right now… this is the last set of food
containers you will ever need! Attractive and functional in ways you probably never thought possible,
your FreshContainers will meet and exceed all of your food freshness needs!
FreshContainer Care and Cleaning
Your containers are designed to be stain-resistant and dishwasher, freezer,
refrigerator, and microwave safe.
IMPORTANT: Periodically check the seal and underlying rim of the
container for food particles to ensure the tightest seal.
If the green perimeter seal is ever removed from the rim of the lid, be sure
that the smooth side of the seal faces in toward the container lid
(the dotted pattern or relief impression should face away from the lid).
To disassemble green button valve:
Looking at underside of lid, push underside of green button with thumb
and use other hand to remove other side of button (hard plastic piece). Pull
rubber valve through top of lid. Hand wash these pieces with warm soapy
water. Allow pieces to dry thoroughly before immediately reassembling.
WARNING: Choking Hazard. Product contains small parts not suitable
for small children.
To reassemble green button valve:
Push rubber valve through hole in top of VacuWare lid. Valve is properly
installed when valve flanges catch on underside of lid. Press hard plastic
green button through hole in valve.
NOTE: Do not attempt to assemble button and valve before installing
into lid. This can damage the valve and will affect the seal. Install
valve before green button.
Do not place hot food under a vacuum! Always
allow the food to cool rst and then seal and store.
WARNING: Vacuum packaging is not a substitute for
proper food handling. Perishable foods still must be
refrigerated or frozen for storage; refrigerate, freeze, and
thaw foods appropriately.
If you are sealing food for an extended period
of time (for example, freezing bulk foods), we
recommend you double the sealing time to ensure
the best possible seal. If your FreshStation takes ten
seconds for the light to indicate a completed seal,
then continue sealing for another ten seconds. YOU
CANNOT OVERSEAL YOUR FRESHCONTAINERS!
Scratches and small cuts or nicks on the rim of your
container, lid or on the green seal will affect the seal
of your FreshContainers. If eating or preparing foods
in the FreshContainer, be careful not to scratch the
rim.
When sealing liquids, fill your FreshContainers no
more that 2/3 full to reduce the potential of liquids
getting pulled into the valve.

FreshContainer Helpful Hints
Never use VacuWare containers in the oven.
Use your FreshContainer only for its
intended purpose.
FreshContainers are designed to be used in
conjunction with VacuWare vacuum devices only.
Remember that thick liquids (such as caramel or
chocolate) expand during the sealing process.
Be sure to leave space in your FreshContainer for
this expansion.
You may need to “break in” the valves on your
FreshContainers the first time you use them.
Press the green button around the edges several
times to maximize the effectiveness of your
valve.
Be sure foods are not wrapped in plastic of any
kind before placing in FreshContainer, as this can
block the airflow when sealing.
For maximum freshness, be sure fruits and
vegetables are dry before sealing.
