FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants this lighting bulb to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer
purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be defective,
the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the
product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through
misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alterations, neglect, or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up,
or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty
shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence,
alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or
weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear. The manufacturer does not warrant and
specifically disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose,
other than the warranty contained herein. The manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability and
shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to any
labor / expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of said product.

Quick Installation Guide
1. Always switch off the power supply before installation.
2. Ballast bypass model. Ballast must be removed before installation.
3. LED tubes operate in temperatures from -20°C to + 45°C.
4. Use in dry or damp locations or in luminaires that provide correct protection.
5. All LED tubes must be installed by a professional electrician.
6. Do not change any components of the LED tubes.

interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment, if
not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio

The ballast wiring below represents typical conguration. The actual ballast wiring varies according to
ballast model. It is not necessary to change sockets (if in good condition) to operate double ended lamps,
regardless the type of sockets. Please make sure one side of xture is connected to Live (L) and the
other side to Neutral (N).

1. Risk of re or electric shock. LED Retrot Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical
systems. If not qualied, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualied electrician.
2. Risk of re or electric shock. Install this kit only in luminaires that have the construction features
and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the retrot
kit does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.
3. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit
installation.
4. To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp
objects.
5. This xture must be grounded and installed in accordance with local and national electrical codes,
by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
6. Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lamp holder terminals to make new connections
at lamp holder terminals. Instead installers should cut existing lamp holder leads away from the lamp
holder and make new electrical connections to lamp holder lead wires by employing applicable
connectors.
7. Please examine all parts that are not intended to be replaced by the retrot kit for damage and replace
any damaged parts prior to installation of the retrot kit.
8. THIS RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE SUITABILITY OF THE
COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. PRODUCT MUST BE
INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE AND APPROPRIATE
ELECTRICAL CODES. THE INSTALLATION GUIDE DOES NOT SUPERSEDE LOCAL OR NATIONAL
REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS.
9. The units covered by this report are intended to retrot surface mount, Type IC/Type Non-IC recessed
mount listed uorescent luminaires that use a maximum of 4 straight tubular lamps with or without a
diffuser. The minimum dimension of luminaries are tabulated below:
WARNING:
To avoid potential re or shock hazard, do not use this retrot kit in luminaires
employing shunted bin-pin lampholders.
Note: Shunted lamp holders are found only in uorescent luminaires with Instant-Start ballasts. Instant-
Start ballasts can be identied by the words "Instant Start" or "I.S." marked on the ballast. This
designation may be in the form of a statement pertaining to the ballast itself, or may be combined
with the marking for the lamps with which the ballast is intended to be used, for example F40T12/IS.
