Bright Images through Excellent Light Efficiency
Sony 3LCD projectors offer a brighter viewing
experience. Prior to processing by each LCD, light
emitted from the lamp is broken into the three primary
colours red (R), green (G) and blue (B). This offers
excellent light efficiency as the three primary colours are
streamed continuously without interruption, resulting in
a projected image that is both bright and sharp.

Each primary colour is carefully controlled and
recombined, such that subtle expressions in
gradations and shadows are faithfully reproduced.

Multiple Inputs and Control
Dual RGB Input (VPL-EX3 only)
Equipped with dual RGB inputs, the
VPL-EX3 lets you connect up to 2 computers
simultaneously. One touch is all it takes to
switch between 2 presenters, without any
interruption.
Integrated Volume Control
The remote commander has an integrated
volume control, for easy adjustments to both
internal and external speaker volume.
Input Flexibility (Multiscan Converter)
The VPL-EX3 and VPL-ES3 accept a wide
variety of video input signals ranging from
Standard Definition to High Definition.
Supported interfaces include – composite,
S-Video (Y/C), and analog RGB/component
via the HD D-sub 15 pin plug. They also
accept computer signals from VGA up to
SXGA+ (1400 x 1050).
Control Capability
The RS232C control port allows for additional
control over the projector from remote
locations.
Short Projection Distance
The VPL-EX3 and VPL-ES3 both sport a short
focal-length lens with 1.2 times optical zoom.
This means that you can enjoy a large
60-inch screen image from a projection
distance of just 1.8 meters.
Monitor Output
By connecting an external monitor to the
projector, the presenter can conduct a
professional presentation without looking at
the projector screen and having to turn his
back to the audience.

Password Authentication System
(Security Lock)
By incorporating a four digit password
system, it helps to prevent unauthorised use
of the projector. With an additional cable lock,
the security lock feature on the main unit
prevents any theft of the unit when placed in

Even in the midst of a long presentation,
these projectors remain silent and cool,
thanks to their efficient cooling system.
During operation in standard mode, the
projectors emit only 29dB of noise level for
