Shower trim with lever handle includes 1 mode
showerhead (4-163) with standard 2.5 gpm (9.5 L/min) ow
restrictor. Valve trim with lever handle includes shower
escutcheon only. Components made from metal and
nonmetallic materials plated in standard polished chrome
nish.

Note:
For valve body installation, please
see valve body installation guide.
1) Install shower escutcheon (K) to
shower valve. Secure with two
screws (G).
2) Install dome cover (J) to valve and
secure with lock nut (I).
3) Install handle (F) to valve and
secure with screw (E) and star
washer (H).
Attach plug
button (D) to handle.
Note: Handle should be facing the
6 o'clock position.
4) Attach shower arm (A) and
ange (B) to vertical shower pipe
turning clockwise to tighten.
5) Install showerhead

Care and Cleaning

1) Turn shower handle counterclockwise approximately
1/4 turn to put valve in cold position.
2) Turn shower handle counterclockwise approximately
1/2 turn to put valve in warm position.
3) Turn shower handle counterclockwise approximately
3/4 turn to put valve in hot position.
