C60 Elite GMT 1000
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s actually a dive watch capable
of being submerged to depths of 1000m – but with its GMT-ready
movement, the C60 Elite GMT 1000 is just as at home ying at the
edge of the Earth’s atmosphere at huge speeds!
As a new member of the Elite family, the GMT inherits serious
technical credentials. Engineered from Grade 2 titanium –
a material boasting the highest strength-to-density ratio of any
metallic element, whilst being corrosion-resistant and unobtrusively
lightweight – it’s undoubtedly a heavy-duty watch; yet it’s also this
same material that enables it to rank as one of the lightest Tridents
in the collection.
Featuring an integrated automatic Helium Release Valve (HRV),
a uni-directional ceramic bezel and an exhibition caseback, not only
will it assist with equalisation during ascent from a dive, but it’s
indicative of the robust technicality and modern dive watch looks
that run throughout the GMT 1000.
Yet one glance at its dial will tell you that this isn’t an ordinary
diver. (Perhaps it’s something to do with the 24-hour ring around
the dial’s edge, or the brightly coloured GMT hand…) Powered
by a Swiss-made Sellita SW330 movement, the Elite not only
allows its wearer to track the time in two timezones at once; the
inclusion of countdown markings on its bezel means it can be used
simultaneously as a diving instrument too.
The C60 Elite GMT 1000: CW’s rst true dive watch with GMT
functionality. Dive (or y) away – it’s up to you!
