Brief Description
HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection and is a form of digital
copy protection developed to prevent copying of digital audio and video content
when it’s transferred across digital interfaces such as DVI (Digital Visual
Interface), HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) or DisplayPort; the
consumer electronics industry has adopted this technology as standard e.g. for
connection of displays, TV sets etc.
Fujitsu Technology Solutions mainboards with digital outputs (DVI, HDMI,
DisplayPort) feature a standard-compliant implementation of HDCP and allow a
hassle-free connection to HDCP-compliant display devices of all kind.
