Connecting weezy
to your stereo
1. Locate the AUX IN connector (or another audio input) on your stereo system
and connect one of the audio cables provided (A or B).
Usually there are 2*RCA connectors at the rear (check your stereo system
user manual for information).
2. Turn your stereo on and select the correct audio source (for example, AUX IN)
3. Connect the other end of the audio cable to weezy’s 3.5mm Audio Out
socket.
4. Connect the AC Power Adapter cable to Weezy’s DC IN socket and plug the
AC adapter into a wall power outlet.
5. Push the ON/OFF button: when the LED starts flashing, weezy is ready!
When the LED flashes, weezy can be connected by Bluetooth; once there is
an active Bluetooth connection the LED becomes fixed.
6. Put weezy in a visible place (no lower than 80cm from the floor) to have
maximum wireless range.
Weezy has a 100-metre range in open field.
Walls, windows and other obstacles may limit such range.
The Bluetooth range of mobile phones is around 10-30 metres, so this will
be the maximum range of the whole system.
Listening to your music
1. Activate Bluetooth on your device (for example, a mobile phone).
2. Open Bluetooth manager and select ADD Device (or search for Device).
3. After scanning, you will see ‘weezy XXX’ among the available devices (XXX is
the unique ID of each weezy, which can be found on the label under the
device); click on it.
4. weezy will ask for a passkey (only upon the first connection); type ‘1234’
5. Now weezy is paired with your device; you can connect it and launch your
device’s Media Player. You will hear your music coming from your stereo
speakers!
Weezy respects your privacy: weezy mutes automatically when there is
an incoming phone call.
weezy’s play volume is fixed: adjust the volume using your stereo remote.
NOTE
The VOLUME button sets the max Audio Out level (to be compatible with
different amplifiers).
Set your stereo volume to 50% of the max level and play a song from your
device. If the volume level is too low or too high, you can push the VOLUME
button to set your standard volume level.
