1. Product Overview
Introduction
2
1.1 Introduction
TC-5570PM is a '5G & mmWave' OTA chamber designed to allow OTA (over the air) testing under the
far-field conditions even in a small space.
It provides an environment for performance testing of mmWave antennas by applying an optimized
absorber for '5G and mmWave OTA' tests.
But for the large radiator antennas, it may be difficult to meet Far-Field test conditions. (antenna size
within 51 mm at 28 GHz, 42 mm at 40 GHz).
2 laser pointers are installed orthographically in the TC-5570PM system, so DUT can be easily
positioned and set on a test zone. Moreover, for measuring convenience, LED light can be supported
and an angle-adjustable camera module is installed inside the chamber for a user can check the 3D
rotator status on a PC.
TC-5570PM System offers various antenna module options. Please check Table 1-1 Optional Test
Antenna Module for details.

TC-5570PM System introduces TC-5500A, the 3D rotator with two-axis rotation for 3D radiation
pattern measurement. The rotator is designed and manufactured in consideration of permittivity,
equipped with RF through connector, built with rotating slip ring which prevents the twist of power
and data cables while operating.
Order number of the 3D Rotator: TC-5500A (Optional)
There are several types of panel options for TC-5570PM to connect data interface, electric power, etc.
Custom panels are also available to suit customer needs.

2.1.1 Locating the TC-5570PM
Before setting TC-5570PM up, refer to Figure 2-3 TC-5570PM Outer Dimensions and check the
dimensions of the spot of installation, entrance and passage.
After confirming that there is enough space, close the door of TC-5570PM, remove all electric
connections, unlock the wheel brakes, and then move TC-5570PM (Refer to Figure 2-5 Door Open &
Close).
If the entrance or the passage is narrower than the system, it may have to be disembled. Contact
TESCOM Customer Service for disembly/assembly of the product.
