This high-quality impact wrench offers lightweight and ergonomic design
for greater user comfort and reduces vibration. It features a 1/2 in. drive,
max. torque rating of 370 ft-lb, 90 PSI pressure rating and 360° exhaust
design with muffler for reduced noise and greater operational capabilities.

basic precautions to reduce the risk of personal
injury and/or damage to the equipment.
Keep this manual for safety warnings, precautions, operating or inspection
and maintenance instructions.
1. Operate in a safe work environment. Keep your work area clean, well-
lit and free of distractions. Place lights so you are not working in a
shadow.
2. Keep anyone not wearing the appropriate safety equipment away
from the work area.
3. Store tools properly in a safe and dry location. Keep tools out of the
reach of children.
4. Do not install or use in the presence of flammable gases, dust or
liquids.
WARNING! Wear personal protective equipment
approved by the Canadian Standards Association
(CSA) or American National Standards Institute
(ANSI).
1. Always wear impact safety goggles that provide front and side
protection for the eyes. Eye protection equipment should comply
with CSA Z94.3-07 or ANSI Z87.1 standards based on the type of work
performed.

2. Wear the appropriate type of full-face shield in addition to safety
googles, as the work can create chips, abrasive or particulate matter.
3. Wear gloves that provide protection based on the work materials or
to reduce the effects of tool vibration.
3.1 Do not wear gloves when operating a tool that can snag the
material and pull the hand into the tool.
4. Wear protective clothing designed for the work environment and
tool.
5. Non-skid footwear is recommended to maintain footing and balance
in the work environment.
6. Wear steel toe footwear or steel toe caps to prevent a foot injury
from falling objects.
7. This tool and its air source can cause hearing damage. Wear hearing
protection gear with an appropriate Noise Reduction Rating to
withstand the decibel levels.
Control the tool, personal movement and the work environment to avoid
personal injury or damage to the tool.
1. Do not operate any tool when tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medications.
2. Avoid wearing clothes or jewelry that can become entangled with the
moving parts of a tool. Keep long hair covered or bound.
3. Do not overreach when operating the tool. Proper footing and balance
enables better control in unexpected situations.
4. Hold this tool securely. Using a tool with only one hand can result in
loss of control.
5. Never point the air stream or tool at any point of your body, other
people or animals. Debris and dust ejected at high speed can cause
an injury.
6. Serious injury or death may occur from inhaling compressed air. The
air stream may contain carbon monoxide, toxic vapors or solid
particles. Never inhale compressed air directly from the pump or air
tool.

1. Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific
function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for an unintended
purpose.
2. Regularly inspect the tool and its associated components.
3. Before any inspections or maintenance, ensure to turn off the air
source, disconnect the tool and drain the hose.
4. Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged, broken or misplaced.
Repair or replace the parts.
5. Pay special attention to the air hoses. Check regularly for fraying or
other wear or damage and always keep organized to avoid tripping or
other hazards.
6. To avoid personal injury or discomfort from vibration, do not operate
in the same position for extended periods of time. Discontinue use if
any pain is noticed.
7. Do not point the tool at yourself or any person. Do not engage in any
horseplay with this tool.
8. Note the rotation direction before operating.
9. Anticipate and be ready for any changes in motion during start up
and operation.
10. Never hold or transport this tool using the air hose.
11. Keep away from the rotating end of the tool.

12. Impact wrenches are not torque control devices. Fasteners with
specific torque requirements must be checked with a suitable torque
measuring device after installation with this tool.
13. Use only impact sockets or accessories. Do not use hand sockets or
accessories.
14. Do not force this tool beyond its rated capacity.
1. Only use impact sockets and extensions with this impact wrench.
Accessories that are not impact hardened can break or shatter and
cause an injury.
2. Only use accessories that are specifically designed for use with the
tool. Make sure accessories are capable of handling the tool's
maximum speed. Ensure the accessory is tightly installed.
3. Always check sockets and accessories for damage before each use.
Damaged sockets and accessories can break during use and cause
serious injury.
4. Always use the correct socket that matches the drive size. Ensure any
socket or accessory is properly seated to prevent it from being
thrown. Improper use could lead to possible injury to the operator,
damage to the tool or workpiece.
5. Do not use in confined spaces and beware of crushing your hands
between the tool and workpiece, especially when unscrewing.
6. Do not over-tighten a nut or use additional force on the impact
wrench. The nut can shatter and cause an injury or damage the tool
or workpiece. Use a torque wrench to tighten the nut after using the
impact wrench.
7. Do not run the wrench without a load for an extended period of time
as this will shorten the tool’s lifespan.
8. Brace the tool to prevent it from slipping during use. Be ready to
counteract normal or sudden movements. It may cause an injury if a
moving part comes in contact with your body.

9. Do not use any additional force upon the wrench in order to remove
a nut. Excessive pressure could resulting in a serious injury, damage
to the tool, an accessory or the workpiece. Excessive pressure is
being applied if your tool runs smoothly under no load, but does not
run smoothly under load.
10. Never hold the drive, socket, drive extension or accessories during
impacting. Doing so increases the risk of cuts, burns or vibration
injuries.
11. Keep hands and fingers away from work area. Any part of body
coming in contact with moving parts could cause injury.
12. Use a suspension arm whenever possible.
13. The tool is not insulated against contact with live electrical conduits
or sources.
14. Install an in-line shutoff valve or regulator to allow immediate control
over the air supply in an emergency, even if a hose is ruptured.
15. Discontinue tool use if it does not work properly or air is leaking. Tag
or mark the tool as ‘defective or out of service until repaired.

missing. Replace the missing part before
operating. Failure to do so could result in a
malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.

1. This tool must be operated within its capabilities and ratings (see
Specifications). Failure to do so will result in injury, poor performance
and the shortening of the tool’s lifespan.
2. Use only clean and dry compressed air as a power source.
Contaminated or moist air will gradually damage the tool.
3. Clean the air inlet (F) before every operation.
4. Drain the water from the air lines and compressor before every
operation.
5. Recommended air hose specifications for this tool are shorter than 25
ft and with a diameter of 3/8 in. If using an air hose longer than 25 ft,
air pressure may need be increased to compensate.
6. All fittings should have the same inside dimensions and should be
tightly secured.
7. Ensure an emergency shutoff valve has been installed in the air
supply line. Make anyone using the tool aware of its location.

1. Connect the tool to the appropriate air source.
2. Place the tool’s tip (A) over the fastener.
2.1 Always use the simplest tool-to-fastener setup to avoid
reduction in power or performance of operation.
3. Assess whether you wish the tool to moving in the forward
(clockwise) or reverse (counterclockwise) direction.
3. Use the air regulator (C) to select the appropriate amount of air
output.
3.1 The lowest output setting has the thinnest marking, and the
highest output setting has the largest mark.
3.2 There is no ability to adjust output when operating in the
reverse (counterclockwise) direction.
4. Holding the handle (#21) firmly, use the variable speed trigger (D) to
engage the tool.
4.1 If the fastener does not move within five seconds, you may need
to use a larger or different tool.
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient,
easier to control and will have fewer problems.
2. Inspect the tool fittings, alignment, hoses and power supply cord
periodically. Have damaged or worn components repaired or replaced by
an authorized technician. Only use identical replacement parts when
servicing.
3. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
5. Keep the tool clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.
6. Clean the air inlet weekly.
7. Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for
replacements.

WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should
repair the tool. An improperly repaired tool may
present a hazard to the user and/or others.
Lubricate the air motor daily with high quality air tool oil. If no air line oiler
is used, run 1/2 oz. of oil through the tool. The oil can be squirted into the
air inlet or into the hose at the nearest connection to the air supply.
After this tool has been lubricated, oil will discharge through the exhaust
port during the first few seconds of operation. The exhaust port must be
covered with a towel before engaging with the air source to prevent
serious injury.
Do not lubricate this tool with flammable or volatile liquids such as
kerosene, diesel or jet fuel.
NOTICE! NEVER use a penetrating oil to lubricate
the tool. Penetrating oil may act as a solvent
that will break down the grease and cause the tool
to seize up.
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for
electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT pollute the environment by
allowing uncontrolled discharge of waste oil.
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not
function properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified
technician service the tool.
Specific factors may cause the loss of power or erratic action. These can
include the following:
Reduced compressor output
Excessive drain on the air line
Moisture or restrictions in air pipes/lines

Improper or damaged air line connectors
If grit or gum deposits within the tool are noticed, clean the air strainer
and flush out the tool with gum solvent oil or an equal mixture of SAE #10
and kerosene.
