Operation Guide
Connect the AC input cable to the mains power, select the CHR/PWR switch to
CHR and turn on the POWER ON switch, the CHR LED will light up to indicate the
input AC voltage is present. The FLOAT LED will also light up. This means the
battery charger is ready to use. Select WET for wet battery, GEL for gel battery or
select AGM/CAL for AGM/CAL battery.
Connect the battery to the DC output. The charging current indicators from
MAX to MIN will be light up. The battery will charge at the maximum current
temporarily. As the battery becomes charged, the charging current indicators will
gradually reduce from MAX to MIN. When the battery has been charged to
approximately 85%, the FLOAT indicator will light up, and then will be maintained
at constant voltage. The constant charging voltage is pre-set to
13.5V/13.2V/13.8V as the equalize voltage for WET/GEL/AGM battery.
In power supply mode (no battery connected) the FLOAT indicator will be ON,
all the other indicators will be OFF, the output voltage is 12.0V. When on power
supply mode, the charger will not detect the battery polarity and will not detect if
the battery is connected or not. DO NOT CONNECT THE DC OUTPUT TO A
BATTERY ONCE ON POWER SUPPLY MODE. The charger will be damaged if you
connect a battery with reversed polarity when the charger is in power supply
mode.
