2. ConnectacablebetweentheODAC's3.5mmorRCAline‐outputjacktoaheadphoneamplifier.
3. AllowcomputertodetectODACasaUSBdevice.Beginuse.
Note:DonotconnectheadphonesdirectlytotheODAC.TheODACisaline‐outputdevicewhichabsolutely
requiresconnectiontoanexternalamplifier.
InitialComputerSetup
ODACrequiresnodriversinWindows,MacOSX,orLinux.Mostoperatingsystemsimmediatelyrecognizeand
setODACasthedefaultplaybackdevice.Tomanuallyselecttheplaybackdevicein:
o WindowsXP:
Doubleclickvolumeiconintaskbar.Click‘Options’,
‘Properties’,choose‘ODAC’.
o WindowsVista/7:
Rightclickvolumeiconintaskbar,click'PlaybackDevices',set
