you need to process  returned BODUM® product under wrrnty, plese follow the simple

procedure below. We hve tried to mke it s simple s possible for both yourself nd the

end consumer.

BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY PROCEDURE

Our goods come with gurntees tht cnnot be excluded under the Austrlin Consumer

Lw. Consumers re entitled to  replcement or refund for  mjor filure nd for

compenstion for ny other resonbly foreseeble loss or dmge. Consumers re lso

entitled to hve the goods repired or replced if the goods fil to be of cceptble qulity

nd the filure does not mount to  mjor filure.

The beneits to BODUM® customers given by the wrrnty set out below re in ddition

to other rights nd remedies under  lw in reltion to the BODUM® product to which the

wrrnty reltes.

To process  fulty BODUM® product you will require  Return Authoristion (RA)

number. Returned items without  RA number re not ble to be processed for credit or

replcement. Contct BODUM® on (02) 9692 0582 for  RA number.

Fulty product does not include items which hve incurred wer nd ter through

generl home use, misuse or commercil use. Wrrnty does not include ccidentl glss

brekges.

Wrrnty period:

• e-BODUM®: 2 yer replcement wrrnty from the dte of purchse for electricl

pplinces where  defect ppers nd BODUM® is notiied within 2 yers from dte of

purchse.

Proof of purchse: ny clim from the end consumer must be vlidted with  copy of

proof of purchse; without providing  proof of purchse BODUM® Austrli will not be

ble to process the clim. Proof of purchse includes originl purchse receipt/docket or

credit crd sttement showing the purchse mount.

Replcement or credit: once clim is vlidted, if possible plese replce the fulty item

from stock on hnd. If  customer requires  replcement for n item which you don’t hve

on hnd, plese hve the item dded to your next order.

Return or work order: to ensure tht the return process is s esy s possible for both you

nd the end consumer, we don’t do work orders or product repirs.

Once you hve received  RA number nd sighted the product plese sfely dispose of

the fulty item. We don’t require the fulty product to be sent bck to us. However, if you

come cross n unusul fult which you think we need to be wre of plese send it bck

to BODUM® Austrli Hed Oice.

When using electricl pplinces, bsic sfety precutions

should lwys be followed, including the following:

This BODUM® coee grinder is intended for grinding coee

bens for domestic use only. Do not use to grind nything

else s this would dmge the pplince.

Before operting this pplince for the irst time, red

ll instructions. Filure to observe the instructions nd

sfety notes my result in hzrdous conditions.

After unpcking the pplince, check it for dmge. If

in doubt, do not use it, contct your deler.

Keep the pckging mterils (crdbord, plstic bgs

etc.) out of rech of children (dnger of suoction or

injury).

This pplince is designed for household use only. Do

not use outdoors. Do not plce on or ner  hot gs or

un-plug the pplince by holding the plug, not the cord.

Do not let cord hng over edge of tble or counter, or

touch hot surfces. Do not operte ny pplince with

 dmged cord or plug or fter the pplince mlfunc-

tions, or hs been dmged or dropped in ny mnner.

Contct the mnufcturer t their customer service

telephone number (or service website) for informtion

on exmintion, repir, or djustment.

The use of ccessory ttchements not recommended

or sold by the pplince mnufcturer my result in ire,

electric shock or injury to persons.

For USA - Cnd: This pplinces hs  polrized plug

(one blde is wider thn the other). To reduce the risk

of electric shock, this plug will it in  polrized outlet

only one wy. If the plug does not it fully in the outlet,

reverse the plug. If it still does not it, contct  quliied

electricin. Do not modify the plug in ny wy.

In the cse of  fult or mlfunction occurring, switch the

pplince o; do not ttempt to repir it yourself. Hve

repirs to the pplince crried out only by  customer

service workshop tht is uthorised by the mnufcturer.

Filure to comply with the bove sfety notes cn com-

promise the sfety of the pplince.

Never ttempt to exchnge the mins cble of the ppli-

nce s specil tools re required for this. To ensure

continued sfety of the pplince, if the cble needs to

be repired or exchnged, hve this crried out exclu-

sively by  customer service workshop uthorised by the

mnufcturer.

Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or

tking o prts nd before clening.

Avoid contcting moving prts.

To protect ginst ire, electric shock nd injury to persons

do not immerse cord, plug nd coee grinder in wter

or other liquid.

Check hopper for presence of foreign object before use.

Alwys disconnect the pplince from the supply if it is

left unttended nd before ssembling, disssembling

or clening.

This pplince shll not be used by children. Keep the

pplince nd its cord out of rech of children.

Applinces cn be used by persons with reduced physi-

cl, sensory or mentl cpbilities or lck of experience

nd knowledge if they hve been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the pplince in  sfe wy

nd if they understnd the hzrds involved.

The surfce must be dry. Keep the pplince

nd its mins cble out of rech of children.

Ensure tht the voltge indicted on the

rting plte of the pplince grees with the

mins voltge in your re.

The mnufcturer declines ny libility for

ccidents cused by fulty or non-existing

erthing of the pplince.

If the power point is unsuitble for

ccommodting the plug of your pplince,

hve the power point chnged by  licensed

electricin.

Young children should be supervised to

ensure tht they do not ply with the

pplince.

If the supply cord is dmged, it must be

replced by the mnufcturer, its service

gent or similrly quliied persons in order

to void  hzrd.

Switch o the pplince nd disconnect

from supply before pproching prts tht

Your coee grinder is redy for use. Plese

dispose of the pck ging mteril with

respect for the environment.

This pplince must only be connected to n

/c supply with  voltge of 220240 V/50-

60 Hz (Europe version) or 120 V/60 Hz (US or

Cnd version). Minimum fuse protection

of the socket outlet = 6 mps.

This BODUM® coee grinder is exclusively

intended for grinding coee bens for

domestic use only. Do not use to grind

nything else s this would dmge the

pplince.

Technicl modiictions re strictly

forbidden due to the inherent dngers!

Plese ensure tht the mins plug is

disconnected from the socket outlet when

you ill the pplince with coee bens.

The coee grinder should be used with 

mximum of 60 g coee bens. (60 g is 1 x

the volume of the lid).

In order to prevent the motor from

overheting, never use the coee grinder for

longer thn 60 seconds t  time s doing

so would increse the dnger of burns due

to the motor overheting! The coee grinder

is redy for use gin fter  60 seconds

brek.

Once the pplince hs been illed with

coee bens, put the lid on so tht the

tongue on the lid its into the intended slot in

the housing.

plug is plugged into the socket.

Press the on/o button nd hold the lid on

tight while the coee is ground.

After grinding, unplug the pplince nd

empty the coee grinder.

Unplug from outlet before clening.

Alwys clen the pplince immeditely

fter use.

Never clen the pplince with wter or

immerse it in wter.

The metl continer cn be clened with 

soft, dry brush.

When the pplince is not in use, it must be

switched o nd un plugged.

Keep the coee grinder in  sfe, dry plce

out of the rech of children.

The coee grinder does not require

mintennce, prt from the occ sionl

function check.

Immeditely unplug the pplince if it is

defective or if  defect is suspected. Hve

the pplince exmined, nd if necessry

repired, by the nerest uthorised BODUM®

deler. Repirs nd ny other servicing to

the coee grinder should only be crried out

by uthorised service personnel. Indequte

repir cn crete signiicnt hzrds to

users. BODUM® cnnot ccept ny libility

Under these circumstnces the gurntee

will be void.
