QUICK SETUP GUIDE FOR THE
AIRGO Android MINIPLAYER V2 using IOPlayer CMS

Thank you for acquiring the new Airgoo HDMI MiniPlayer V2 for Digital Signage
Please check the content of the box:
• MiniPlayer with WiFi and Ethernet capability
• Power adaptor
This Quick Setup Guide is to be used in conjunction with the IOPlayer User Guide
This player has been pre-activated so you do not need to use the License key but
you need to request a Digital Signage Account.
Please follow the following steps, 1 to 6.
Step 1: Request a Digital Signage Account
- Send an email at info@airgoo.co.uk to request a Digital Signage Account and provide
the following information:
• Your company and contact details.
• The name of your reseller
• The serial Number of the MiniPlayer (Label under the player, 4x4digits)
• CMS License number (Label under the player, 5x4digits)
• IOP number: (Label under the player)
• Indicate if you need instructions in a different language (French, German,
Spanish, etc…)
Note: The player will be listed in the Content Management Server under the IOP
number !
- In return you will receive:
• user name and a password which you will use at STEP 6
• latest version of the user manual
• Confirmation that your MiniPlayer has been registered and is ready to use.
Step2: Power up the MiniPlayer
In the following order:
1. Connect the MiniPlayer Box to the screen or TV via the HDMI cable
2. Connect the power adaptor to the micro USB socket of the MiniPlayer,
3. Check that the blue light is on
4. Check that the TV screen is powered as well.

Note! : If the following image suddenly comes on the screen:
It means that the player is rebooting to adapt to the local time
zone. It will then replay the above sequence another time.
Step 3: Launch the IOPlayer setup Screen
• Connect the mouse to any one of the two USB
sockets.
• Right click to display the passcode screen
• Enter the passcode: 11223344 and click OK
Step 4: Setup LAN or WiFi
The IOPlayer Setup Screen appears, scroll down to show the NETWORK SETTINGS
section. On the right hand side select the desired connectivity : WiFi or LAN
For LAN
• For standard DHCP Ethernet settings, go to step 5
• For Static IP settings:
o Click Connections settings where you can see that DHCP is set as default
! Click on Connection type to choose Static IP and start entering your
settings
! Click OK/validate and return
o go to step 5
For WiFi
• Click on WIFI Network Settings, a new window appears:
o Wait for 10 seconds for the system to detect the available networks
o Click Choose available Wifi network and a list of WiFi networks will appear.
Select your network and click OK
o Click Security and select the encryption type
o Click Password and enter the Network Password
o Click OK
o Click OK Validate and return
• go to step 5
Step 5: Confirm connectivity
• Wait for the Network state disk to go from RED (offline, trying to connect) to
GREEN (Online).
o Be patient, it may take up to a minutes when the
circle may hesitate between grey and red.
o YELLOW means that you connected to the router
but not to the Internet yet
• If the network state disk never becomes green try the following:
o After several minutes, go back to Network SSID go back to step 2 and check
that you have you have selected the right Network SSID, password and
security level.
o Restart your MiniPlayer (power off then on)
o Restart your router
o Note that he connection may not work with an “open” WiFi network which
does not require password or security.
o Will also probably not work with WEP security. WPA/WPA2 preferred
• Once green, click OK/Validate and exit and you will be
returned to the Digital Signage Mode and content will appear
again on the screen.
Step 6: Login to the Digital Signage Server from your computer
Now that the MiniPlayer is successfully connected to the Internet, it will have been
Detected by the CMS server.
To log on to the server:
• Go to the following URL: airgoo.ioplayer.tv
• Enter the User Name and Password provided to you by Airgoo
Refer to the user guide for the use of the Digital Signage Server
Other settings
Switching from Landscape mode to Portrait mode:
Right click, 11223344 and OK
Click “ORIENTATION” and select Vertical (90deg)
Right click again to exit.
