You can enjoy video in the back seat attaching the unit to the
back of the front seat.

Refer to the illustration on page 1 and 2 as well.
Depending on the type of headrest, you may not be able
to attach the bracket. In the event of an accident etc., the
unit could become loose and cause injury.
Attach the Headrest mounting bracket to the
front seat.
1 Close the bracket belt buckle.

Adjust the headrest so there is an open space of about
3cm(1

). If this space is larger than 3 cm (1

),
the unit could become loose and cause injury in the
event of an accident etc.

Attach the bracket to the seat so that the label side of the
bracket can be seen from the rear of the seat.
≥
Leave the belt somewhat loose.
2 Pass the safety belt (included) through the space between
the front seat and the bracket.
≥
Adjust the length of the bracket belt and tighten so that
there is no slack.
Attach the unit to the bracket.
≥
To avoid damaging the screen, attach the unit to the
bracket with the screen turned inwards and closed.
1 While holding the unit with both hands, push it in so that
the protruding marks (A) on the bracket fit into the slots on
the rear of the unit.
2 Press the unit down about 4 to 5 mm (

Please check the following points before use.
– The bracket is securely fastened to the unit.
– The unit is not loose and cannot be lifted upwards.
≥
When correctly attached, you will hear a locking sound.
Fasten the unit to the bracket with the safety
belt.
≥
Put the disc into the unit before attaching the safety
belt.
≥
Unfasten the safety belt buckle before exchanging
discs. Close the safety belt buckle again after
exchanging discs.

Do not attach or detach the unit or the bracket while
the car is moving.
≥
Do not attach the unit in the following locations:
– anywhere other than the back of the front seat
– where it can be viewed or operated by the driver
– where it interferes with the driver’s operation of the vehicle
– where it interferes with the operation of an airbag
≥
Ensure that the bracket belt is securely fastened and
check the lock on the unit. Refer to installation
instructions.
In the event of an accident, sudden acceleration or
braking, the unit could become loose and cause injury or
property damage.
≥
Only use the Panasonic bracket supplied to attach the
unit to the car seat.
≥
Using this unit safely in a car.
In the event of an accident, there is a slight possibility that
the unit could become detached from the Headrest
Mounting Bracket. Therefore, use the safety belt
(included) together with the Headrest Mounting Bracket to
secure the unit.
ENGLISH
1 Open the screen and rotate it.
2 Pass the safety belt through the gap between the screen
and the unit body from the left and right of the unit.

To avoid damaging the unit, attach the belt so that the
fabric part (B) covers the top of the unit.
3 Close the safety belt buckle and fasten the unit to the
bracket.
≥
Adjust the length of the safety belt so that there is no
slack.
4 Turn the screen outwards and close.
≥
The angle of the LCD may shift while driving due to vibration, etc.
Detach the unit from the bracket
≥
Remove the safety belt from the unit and the bracket.
≥
Rotate the screen and then close it with the screen
turned inwards.
1 Press the release buttons (left and right) in towards the
center of the bracket.
2 While holding the unit with both hands, lift it up about 4 to
5mm (

) and pull forward to remove it.
≥
Do not press the release buttons any time other than
when detaching the unit from the bracket.
≥
Refer to the illustration on page 2 as well.
Before connection, consult your car owner’s manual or your
dealer.
≥
Connect to the cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle that has a
12 V battery. It is not compatible with a vehicle that has a
24 V battery.
≥
This is a special negative grounded Car DC Adaptor. Using
this Car DC Adaptor with a plus grounded car can cause
malfunction and lead to fire.
1 Connect the car DC adaptor to the unit.
2 Connect the
car DC adaptor
to the cigarette
lighter socket.
≥
Place the unit on a stable surface.
Replacing the fuse
Replace only with the specified 125 V/250 V, 3.0 A fuse.
Use of any other type can cause fire.
1 Open the socket.
2 Replace the fuse.
3 Close the socket.
Cautions
≥
To avoid draining your car battery
– Disconnect the Car DC Adaptor from the cigarette lighter
after use. The Car DC Adaptor continues to consume
some power even if it is not being used, and if a battery
pack is attached to this unit, it will start recharging which
uses more power.
– Do not use the Car DC Adaptor for long periods when the
engine is not running.

Turn the unit off before stopping the engine while using Car
DC Adaptor, otherwise resume play may not work.
≥
Leave some slack in the cord.
≥
No responsibility will be taken for damage that occurs due to
faulty installation.
You can enjoy audio through your car audio system by
connecting a car stereo cassette adaptor (not included) to
the headphone jack on the left side of this unit.

Insérer le disque dans l’appareil avant d’attacher la courroie de
sécurité.

Détacher la boucle de la courroie de sécurité avant de
changer de disque, puis la rattacher une fois le disque
inséré.

Ne pas fixer ou retirer l’appareil ou le support de montage
pendant la conduite.
≥
Ne pas fixer l’appareil dans les endroits suivants:
– tout autre endroit que l’arrière du siège avant
– dans tout endroit où les images peuvent être visionnées ou que
l’appareil peut être piloté par le conducteur
– dans tout endroit qui interfère avec la conduite du véhicule
– dans tout endroit qui interfère avec les coussins gonflables

S’assurer que la courroie du support de montage est attachée de
façon sécuritaire et vérifier le verrou sur l’appareil. Se reporter
aux instructions d’installation.
Si un accident, une accélération brusque ou un freinage soudain devait
survenir, l’appareil pourrait devenir lâche et causer des blessures ou
des dommages.

Utiliser seulement le support de montage Panasonic fourni pour
fixer l’appareil au siège.
≥
Utiliser cet appareil avec soin dans un véhicule.
Si un accident devait survenir, l’appareil pourrait se détacher du
support de montage pour appui-tête. Il est donc conseiller d’utiliser la
courroie de sécurité (incluse) de pair avec le support de montage pour
fixer l’appareil en place.

Ouvrir l’écran et le faire pivoter.

Enfiler la courroie de sécurité dans l’ouverture entre l’écran et le boîtier
de l’appareil des côtés gauche et droit de l’appareil.

Pour éviter d’endommager l’appareil, attacher la courroie de manière
que la partie en tissu (

) recouvre la partie supérieure de l’appareil.

Attacher la boucle de la courroie de sécurité et fixer l’appareil au
support de montage.

Régler la longueur de la courroie de sécurité jusqu’à ce qu’elle ne soit
plus lâche.

Tourner l’écran vers l’extérieur et le fermer.

L’inclinaison de l’écran ACL peut varier pendant la conduite à cause des
vibrations, etc.
Retrait de l’appareil du support de montage
≥
Retirer la courroie de sécurité de l’appareil et du support de montage.
≥
Pivoter l’écran, puis le fermer avec l’écran tourné vers l’intérieur.

Pousser les boutons de dégagement (gauche et droit) vers le centre du
support de montage.

Tout en tenant l’appareil avec les deux mains, le soulever environ

po) et tirer vers l’avant pour le retirer.

Ne jamais appuyer sur les boutons de dégagement sauf pour
dégager l’appareil du support de montage.

Se reporter également à l’illustration à la page 2.
Avant de faire les raccordements, consulter le manuel d’utilisation de la
voiture ou contacter le détaillant.
≥
Brancher le cordon de l’adaptateur dans la douille de l’allume-cigares d’un
véhicule avec batterie de 12 V. Il n’est pas compatible avec les véhicules
équipés d’une batterie de 24 V.
≥
Cet adaptateur fonctionne sur batterie avec borne négative à la masse
seulement. Installer cet appareil dans un véhicule avec une borne positive
à la masse peut entraîner un mauva
is fontionnement et un risque d’incendie.
1 Brancher l’adaptateur c.c. pour voiture à
l’appareil.
2 Brancher l’adaptateur c.c. pour voiture à la douille
de l’allume-cigares.

Placer l’appareil sur une surface stable.
Remplacement du fusible
N’utiliser qu’un fusible 125 V/250 V, 3,0 A. L’utilisation d’un autre type
de fusible pourrait causer un incendie.

Dévisser l’extrémité de la fiche.

Remplacer le fusible.

Revisser l’extrémité de la fiche.
Précautions à prendre
≥
Pour éviter l’affaiblissement de la batterie de la voiture
– Débrancher l’adaptateur de la douille de l’allume-cigares après
utilisation. L’adaptateur continue de consommer de l’énergie même s’il
n’est pas utilisé. Si un bloc-batterie est branché à l’appareil, celui-ci
commencera à se recharger, ce qui consomme encore plus d’énergie.
– Ne pas utiliser l’adaptateur pendant de longues périodes lorsque le
moteur de la voiture est arrêté.

Mettre l’appareil hors marche avant d’arrêter le moteur lors de l’utilisation
de l’adaptateur, autrement la fonction de poursuite de lecture pourrait ne
pas fonctionner.

S’assurer que le cordon n’est pas tendu.
≥
Panasonic n’assume aucune responsabilité pour tout dommage qui
pourrait être causé par une installation impropre.
Il est possible d’utiliser les haut-parleurs de l’autoradio en raccordant un
adaptateur pour lecteur de cassettes de voiture (en option) à la prise de
casque d’écoute située sur le côté gauche de l’appareil.
