Quickreference SoundSystem Base 1
Dear Customer,
Additional to a whole lot of software we have decided to deliver also the drivers on the included CD ROM.
In the following Quickreference replace the >X< with the drive letter assigned to your CD ROM.
Installation instructions Win95
Insert the CD ROM into your CD ROM drive. After starting
Windows a Terratec SoundSystem Base 1 Soundcard will be
detected. Click OK. Click once into the Text window below
copy drivers from: Type X:\DRIVERS
\
W95 and click on
OK. After Gameport-Joystick is found, choose the driver
Windows-Driver (Standard) and click on OK.
Insert the W95 CD-ROM and follow the instructions of the
installation program.
Installation instructions WIN 95 SR2 Release
(OEM Release)
Insert the CD ROM into your CD ROM drive. After starting
Windows a TerraTec SoundSystem Base 1 Soundcard will be
detected. Click Next. Klick Other Location and type in
X:\DRIVERS
\
W95, click OK. Follow further instructions of
the installation program.
Installation instructions Win 3.1x
Insert the CD ROM into your CD ROM drive. Run the program
Setup.exe in the subdirectory X:\DRIVERS
\
WIN31 of the CD
ROM. Click on Continue. In the next menu click on Driver
installation to install the drivers. In the next dialog you can
choose the resources of the Base 1. The default values should
not be changed. End with a click on OK. Reboot the System.
Installation instructions Win NT 4.0
Insert the CD ROM into your CD ROM drive. Open Control
Panel. Click on Multimedia, Devices and Add....
Choose Unlisted or Updated Driver. Click in the text
window and type the path X:\DRIVERS
\
WINNT4 and click OK.
Choose the Driver TerraTec SoundSystem Base 1 and click
OK. The Driver will be installed and the System will perform a
Reboot.
Installation of MediaRack software
Start INSTALL.EXE in Subdirectory X:\MRACK from the CD
ROM. Follow the installation instructions.
Installation instructions of the Bundle Software
Internet Phone :
Change into the subdirectory X:\IPHONE of your CD ROM and
run
SSEETTUUPP..
Microprose Formula 1 Grand Prix 2 DEMO:
Just run INSTALL.EXE on your CD ROM main directory. Before
that you should read the gp2read.txt!
Mixman DEMO:
Run the SETUP.EXE file in the subdirectory X:\MIXMAN of
your CD ROM.
Mod4Win DEMO:
Run the INSTALL.EXE file in the subdirectory X:\MOD4WIN of
your CD ROM.
Steinberg Cubase Score DEMO:
In the subdirectory X:\STEINBRG\CUBASEDE\SCORDEMO
run INSTALL.EXE.
Steinberg Jamstation DEMO:
To install the Steinberg Jamstation Demo run the SETUP.EXE
file in the X:\STEINBRG\JAMST_DE subdirectory.
Steinberg WaveLab DEMO:
To install the Steinberg Jamstation Demo run the SETUP.EXE
file in the X:\STEINBRG\WAVELAB.V15 subdirectory.
And.... dont forget to take a look into the X:\HOTSTUFF direc-
tory!
Please read the README.TXT file before.
To use VocalTecs InternetPhone, you need a personal registration number. This number you
will get via eMail after online registration (http://www.terratec.de/register.htm) of your product,
or via mail if you register via mail, for free.
