Vivart is a new generation of lighting products manufac-
tured with original highly-efficient DSE method and using
edge-based emission LED type for making lamps. It builds
the standard of LED lighting with 50% of energy reduction
and capability to replace artwork images in case of
the at lights used in various types of interior design.
Warnings for product use
Warning
HGM’s Vivart lighting products use secured DC 48V power supplies.
Negligent use of the product, such as connecting common domestic (110/220V) AC power supply
without DC adapter (SMPS), will result in critical damage done to the product. Therefore, please, read
and keep in mind the inspection procedure and installation process details.
1. Warnings for installation and repair/ inspection of the product
•
Do not disassemble the product by yourself, with no help from professional service agent.
This will cause damage to the product.
•
In case the emitted light is switched off in unusual way, please, handle the product after turning off the
power.
•
If splashed with water, please, use only after removing all water or moisture.
•
While replacing artwork lm or other parts, please, wear electrostatic gloves in order to keep the
LED units clean and the user safe.
•
Do not stare at LED light while replacing the lm. The strong light can cause temporary blindness.
2. Checklist
•
Each product has different data on power connector and adapter. During the installation, please,
check if the product has an appropriate voltage/power connector.
3. Proper installation and Operation test
•
After installation, keep inside/outside of the product clean, inspect device’s power cord, frame’s hinged
cover and the lm (whether it is bent). Then, complete installation.
Safety
Please follow the procedure described below for safe use of the product.
Always use designated number of authentic adapter
- If you do not, it will bring damage to the product
Warnings for product use
Use only designated liquid solution for cleaning.
Do not spray with water or wash with ammable cleanser
such as benzene or acetone inside or outside of the product.
- This will initiate insulation of electronic item and cause electric shock

Do not touch product with knifes or sharp objects
- To preserve brightness and degree of uniformity of DSE processed sheet
and the LED modules, there should be no scratches or stains on the
product. Thus, to maintain the product well, always wear white cotton
gloves when touching it
Do not throw down with strong impact
- If you do, it will cause damage to product
Do not allow disassembling or reconguring in order to
change parts and/or to use with the accessories/parts from
other companies
- Usage of the accessories from other companies except for HGM will
cause internal defect and damage to the product

Vivart [SHFL] feature:
This 1cm ultra-thin lighting product can be easily installed by anyone
and anywhere. Film can be replaced with the use of the snap cover
and can be customized according to the style that is most suitable
for the environment.

Installation- replacing existing lighting [unexposed cable]
1. Dispose of existing lighting
Remove the existing embedded
uorescent light box.
Then, leave the blue part of wire
connection (A) a bit longer.
Caution: when handling the wire,
please turn off the power.

Installation of the product in a new location
1. Choose the location
Decide where to install the product.
Product location should have
good interior effect, at side and
be easily drillable
(needed for hole(s) for bolts).
3. Attach with bolts
Attach product to ceiling with
four bolts.
4. Flat cable extension/connection:
Take off adhesive tape from at cable
and x it on the ceiling

Connect the enclosed adapter, and
turn on the power to nish installation.

Film change procedure
1. Open snap cover
Protect LED, wear cotton gloves;
turn off the power and
open snap cover
2. Take out the existing lm
Take out the attached lm.
Be careful not to damage or
scratch due to negligent actions.
3. Check plug-in LED bars
Take out the lm; turn on the power
and check LED surface.
If there is foreign substance, remove
it with soft cloth. After that, check
again and nally turn off the power
if the checking is done.
(All LEDs cannot emit the light
uniformly, but it is unrelated to the
degree of uniformity of the light)

4. Change lm
Put in the lm that one wishes
to display
(usually, the lm size is about
the same size as LED bars it is
possible to see when the
snap cover is opened,
or a little bit bigger so that
it covers the LED module)
5. Close snap cover
As usual, be careful not to scratch
LED surface while closing.
6.
Final inspection and completion of lm changing
To prevent lm from wrinkling,
push the lm as shown on the
upper diagram. Finally, turn on the
light to complete your work.

If another product is not functioning, please, x the outlet.
Power turns off automatically
- Check to see if product and adapter/outlet are properly connected
to each other. Fix the outlet if it is connected loosely.
- Plug in another product’s power cord to the outlet and observe.
If another product is not functioning, please, x the outlet.
- Check if the adapter is overheated or has a burning smell.
Change the adapter if it is.
Product looks spotted.
- Turn the power off and change the lm.
- Check to see if there are foreign materials or nger prints.
- With cotton gloves on, wash the spot out with soft cloth tapped
in water or industrial alcohol.
Light is ickering
- Check to see if product and adapter/outlet are properly connected
to each other.
- Check adapter and see if the cables are properly connected.
Looks like the color is fading
Illumination is not uniform
- Turn off the power and check to see if the area where the product
is installed is at.
- Installing product in not at area may result in light leaking due to
twisting the product or LED being not properly connected.
Please, install product on the at surface.
- not possible to turn the product on
- there is a burning smell or smoke
- a foreign material or water is inside the product
- only a half of the product emits the light

- there is a strange noise coming out from

Product warranty
Responsibility for paid service (Done at customer’s cost)
Fixing the following will require payment even if done during free repair period
- Product damage due to inserting foreign substances or materials (water, drinks, coffee, toys etc)
- Product damage caused by dropping or giving a shock which led to damage of the product’s functions
- Product’s appearance damaged or changed due to organic solvent such as acetone, benzene, etc
- Product damage due to the use of the product parts or power supply not provided by HGM
- Product damage due to oversupply of power of operating voltage
- Product parts being lost or damaged due to voluntary disassembly of the product
- Product damage due to someone other than the representative of the main office service center
trying to x the product
- Product damage due to natural disaster (thunder, re, ood, salt, earthquake, etc)
- Product damage due to customer neglecting warnings for product use from HGM manual
(these warnings for product use extend product’s life span)
- Product damage due to other mistakes made by the customer

To request a repair, one must hold on to and submit product
warranty with a purchase date to get a sufficient service.
Main parts retention period
All products’ main parts quality term of warranty is one year;
parts’ retention period is 5 years.
1. According to the quality warranty of the product, the one will receive
warrant benets as stated in written guarantee.
2. Free warranty period is calculated from the moment of the purchase
of the product, so, please, ll in the purchase date
( if the purchase date is unknown, the product warranty is assumed to
last for three months starting from the year of manufacturing)
3. If domestic product is used for business (business activity, abnormal
environment use, etc), free warranty period is cut in half
(six month; main parts included)
4. This warrant will not be reissued
5. Warrant condition will apply according to the main contract when
supplied with the separate contract (public procurement, HOST,
single goods)
