Tiltthecameraintoyourpreferredpositionandtightenthelocking
screwsoitisngertight.Turnthecameratopanitintothecorrect
position.Theratchetstylemountwillholdthechosenhorizontal
positioninplace.Bestrecordingresultsarewhenthecameraistilted
down slightly towards the road.

Some window screen have a coating that may not allow the suction cup to stick.

Micro SD Card Care
Inserting The Card
ThemicroSDcardwillonlytone
way into the camera. Insert the
card square on to the slot, with
the contacts facing the same side
asthescreen.Thiswillpreventthe
cardfrompossiblyfallingbetween
the case and the reader.
After the card has been inserted, push the card down below the
edgeoftheslotuntilitclicks.Thiswillsecureitinplace.Toremove
pressthecarddownuntilitclicks,letgo,thenremovefromtheslot.
Card Maintenance
FormatthecardmonthlyusingaPC/Laptoptokeepthecardingood
working condition. You may need a card reader and/or micro SD
cardadaptortodothis.
Message “Write Error!!”
Ifthecameradisplays“WriteError”onthescreenyouwillneedto
removethecardandformatitdirectlyinaPC/Laptopandnotviathe
camera.Resetthecamerabypressingandholdingtheresetbutton
intheresetpinholefor10secondswhilethecameraison.Afterthe
cardhasbeenformattedandthecamerareset,reinsertthecardand
use as normal.

Selectthecameraastheinputsourcewithinavideoprogram.This
modewillalsochargethecameraslowly.Chargingcantakeupto
4 hours.
•PowerCharging:Thisoptionwillputthecameraintochargingmode
butwillleavethecameraon.Forfasterchargingitisrecommended
youturnthecameraoffbyholdingthebuttonuntilthe‘Goodbye’

Turning the Camera On
Afterthecamerahasbeenfullychargedandmountedcorrectly,
ConnecttheIn-caradaptortotheaccessory/cigaretteportandthe
other end to the camera. Press and hold the button on the side
markeduntilthe‘REKA’screenappearsonthedisplay.

Loop Recording
Thisoptionwillallowthecameratorecordovertheoldestleofafull
cardinacontinuosloop.
You can select the length of sections to record from the following:
Options: Off > 1 Minute > 3 Minute > 5 Minute
Ifyouselectoffitwillrecordonecontinuosleuntilthecardisfull,
then you will need to delete it. A message will say card full on the
screenwhenthishappens.
A circle arrow around a video camera with a number icon on the
HUDwillindicatethisisactiveshowingtheloopperiod.
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range)
Thisoptionwillallowthecameratoautomaticallyadjusttheoverall
exposuretobalancetheimageinbrightordarkconditions.
