CorreCting the angle of the drain hose hole
This step-by-step instruction describes how to correct the angle of the hole for
the drain hose on refrigerator model RM1350. Before you begin, please take your
time to read through the whole instruction and ensure you follow the usual safety
precautions.

Disconnect from power and gas 1.
connections. If applicable, turn off
the water supply and remove the
hose.
Remove refrigerator from recess. 2.
You must be able to access both
front and back easily.
Locate the drain hose located at 3.
the back of the refrigerator.

Cut the plastic zip-tie holding the 4.
hose in place.
Remove permagum and save for 5.
(required only if original
is damaged during removal)
re-use in step 14.

Pull to disengage the hose from the 6.
drain pipe.
Go to the front of the refrigerator. 7.
Open the refrigerator doors.
Remove the plastic shelf and place 8.
it aside.
Disengage the drain pipe... 9.
... and pull it towards you to
remove. Place it aside.
Detach and remove the upper wire 10.

Push the hose on to the pipe. 15.
Secure with a plastic zip-tie.16.
Make sure to route the hose as 17.
shown below.
Reconnect and reinstall the 18.
refrigerator.
Insert the drill in the existing hole 11.
and position it at an angle of 20
degrees. Drill from front to back.
Reinstall the drain pipe. 12.
Reinstall the wire shelf and plastic 13.
shelf.
Go to the back of the refrigerator. 14.
Seal opening surrounding the drain
pipe with permagum.
