Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Important notes
• Perform a visual inspection of the device before each usage. Do not use the device if safety
parts are damaged or worn out. Never override safety parts.
• Only use the device in accordance with the purpose specified in this manual.
• You are responsible for safety in the work area.
• If the cable or plug is damaged due to external influences, it may not be repaired! The cable
must be replaced with a new one.
• The voltage of 230 V AC specified on the type plate must correspond to the existing mains
voltage.
• Never lift, transport or secure the unit by the power cord.
• Make sure that the electrical connectors are protected from flood and moisture.
• Avoid exposing the device to a direct jet of water.
• The operator is responsible for compliance with local safety and installation regulations. (Ask
an electrician if necessary)
• In the case of a defect of the device, repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Safety instructions
Please note the following advice for your own safety, otherwise damage or injury may result:
Temperatures of parts of the station can be up to 480 ℃ in operation, therefore:
• Do not use the station near flammable gases, paper or other flammable substances.
• Avoid touching hot parts of the station, otherwise you may burn yourself seriously.
• Do not touch metal parts near the soldering tips.
• Place the soldering gun on heat-resistant surfaces only.
• NEVER immerse these in water!
• ALWAYS grasp the soldering gun by the handle, not the tip.
Handle the device with care.
• Never drop it and do not hit it.
• It contains sensitive components that can be destroyed if used improperly.
• It is recommended to leave the soldering gun powered for a maximum of one minute at a time
and then to pause for at least four minutes before being put back into service. This extends the
life of the device.
• Disconnect the device from the mains if you are not going to need it for a long time, if there is a
power failure or before you open it.
• Soldering creates potentially harmful fumes. Solder only in a well-ventilated workplace to avoid
harmful concentrations.
• Do not make structural changes to the device.
