General Use & Care Manual:
Propane Gas Fire Pit
Any modication or failure to follow the recommended care will void the product warranty.
NOTE: This a general guide for use
& care of a propane gas re pit and is
not intended to replace the information
provided within the original owner's
manual. Refer to the original owner's
manual for complete, detailed
information for using and operating
your gas re pit.
Gas fire pits need to be operated with caution.
Operate your gas fire pit safely by following a few simple precautions.
Installation and Operation
Read the owner's manual thoroughly before using the gas fire pit. The original owner's manual will provide all
information for safe operation of your gas fire pit.
Select a Secure Location
Gas fire pits must be located at a safe distance from buildings and combustible materials. Never install a
gas fire pit close to a power source, or overhanging power cables. Generally, a distance of at least 3 meters
from nearby structures is recommended. Never use portable gas fire pits inside your home. Fire pits are only
meant for outdoor use.
Propane Only
Our portable propane fire pits are designed for use with a propane cylinder only; the propane cylinder is not
included. Do not attempt to connect to a remote gas supply. Always ensure the propane tank (not included) is
secured in the propane stand. Inspect the tank and valves prior to every use. Always turn the cylinder valve
off when the fire pit is not in use.
Check for Gas Leaks
Always rule out the possibility of a gas leak before you light the fire pit. Inspect the fire pit and the tank before
each use. If you smell gas, do not light the fire pit.
Consider the Wind Factor
Consider the strength and direction of the wind before you light the fire. A strong wind can quickly lead to
huge flames that may be difficult to control. It is best to wait until the winds have subsided before igniting a fire.
Clean Regularly
Regularly clean the area surrounding the gas fire pit; clear any twigs, leaves, and paper. Never leave
combustible materials near a gas fire pit. You must also clean the fire pit and the burners regularly to prevent
any blockage of the pilot housing and burner ports.
Safety First
Always keep a fire extinguisher or water hose nearby in case a fire gets out of control.
Be very careful when inspecting the fire pit and when lighting it.
Sit a safe distance away from the fire pit.
Children must never be left alone or unsupervised near a gas fire pit, even if it is turned off.
Even after you turn it off, the fire pit will be considerably hot for some time.
Never leave the area before the fire is completely put out.
