❑ Programming Channels
■ Auto Program
O mBroadcastingAuto ProgramE
Automatically scan and program all available channels.
N DTV Air refers to digital broadcast channels transmitted over the terrestrial
UHF band and received through a UHF antenna.
N DTV Cable refers to relaying digital broadcast channels transmitted
terrestrially by your local cable company using its own channel band
allocations.
1. Select Auto Program and then press the E button.
2. Select Start and then press the E button.
3. Press the E button.
4. This starts the Auto Program operation.

Pausing the Auto Program operation
1. Press the E button.
2. Stop Auto Program? is shown. Use the l and r buttons to select Yes.
3. Press the E button.
N Use the l and r buttons to select Scan again and then press the E
button to run the Auto Program operation again.
N Use the l and r buttons to select Close and then press the E button to
exit the Auto Program operation.

Review the Added Ch. and Favorites 1-5 channel lists.
Channel List displays the channel information and channel mode (Added Ch. or
Favorites 1-5). Press r (Mode) to change the channel mode.
N Pressing on the remote control immediately brings up the Channel
List screen.

Air / Cable: Choose the broadcast signal.

Edit Favorites: Add channels as favorites. Add or remove channels to/from
Favorites 1-5.

■ Schedule Manager

Set up a Schedule Viewing for a program that has not yet aired, and the TV will
change to the corresponding channels when the programs air.
N In order to use the Schedule Viewing function, the system's clock must be
set.
1. From the Schedule Manager screen, select Schedule to bring up the Schedule
Viewing screen.
2. l/r button or the numerical buttons to select and configure
each setting.

Antenna: Select a broadcast signal.
●
Channel: Select a channel.

Repeat: Choose Once, Manual, Sat~Sun, Mon~Fri, or Everyday. Manual
lets you designate the days of the week manually.
N The c appears next to the selected days of the week.

Date
N Available only when Repeat has been set to Once.

Start Time: Specify what time you want the Schedule Viewing to start.

Removing Channels
1. Navigate to the Edit Channel screen.
2. E button. The c
appears next to selected channels.
N It's possible to select multiple channels.
N Press the E button again to undo a selection.
3. Press the b (Delete) button to remove the selected channel(s) from the
channel list.

Restoring Removed Channels
1. From the Edit Channel screen, press the T button and then select
Category.
2. Select All and then select OK to show all removed channels in the channel
list.
N All displays the complete channel list that includes previously removed
channels.
N Removed channels are shown in gray.
3. To add removed channels back to the channel list, select the channels you
wish to restore and then press the b (Add) button.

N Using Color and Function Keys under Edit Channel

{ Yellow (Lock / Unlock): Restrict access to harmful channels.
N PIN input screen will be shown. Enter your 4-digit PIN. You can
change the PIN under SystemChange PIN.

b Green (Delete / Add)

Delete: Remove channels from the channel list.

Add: Restores removed channels. This option is only available for
removed channels shown in the channel list (All).

} Blue (Select All / Deselect All): Select the entire list or undo the
selection.

k (Page): Move to the previous or next page.

E (Select / Deselect): Select/deselect channels.

Add channels as favorites.
Adding Channels to Favorites 1-5
1. Select Edit Favorites and then press the E button.
2. E button.
3. Press the b (Change Fav.) button, choose from Favorites 1 through 5, and
then press the } (Add) button. The selected channel is added to the specified
Favorites list.
N It's possible to add the same channel to multiple Favorites lists.

Removing Channels from Favorites 1-5
1. From the Edit Favorites screen, use the b (Change Fav.) button to select a
Favorites list.
2. Select the channels you want to remove.
3. Press the } (Delete) button to remove the selected channels from the
selected Favorites list.

❑ Blocking Programs
■ Channel Lock

Channel Lock prevents children from accessing and viewing harmful channels.
N Entering a PIN is required to enable this feature.
N Enter your 4-digit PIN. The default PIN is 0-0-0-0. You can change the PIN
under SystemChange PIN.
N Channel Lock can only be enabled in TV mode.
