Operating Instructions

z Never use the shear attachment in reverse.

z Always wear gloves and safety glasses whilst using the Power Shears

z Always clamp the material to be cut firmly and cut only within the capacity of the

machine.

1. Hold the drill firmly and start the opening of the cutter against the material.

2. Now angle the drill on approximately a 10˚angle

3. Simply turn on the machine and gently push the cutter through the material

maintaining the angle shown in Figure 1.

4. When cutting corrugated sheets, whilst on the angle as shown in figure 1, follow the

contours on the sheet for easier and smoother cutting.

The Power Shear is designed to cut:

- -1.6mm Sheet steel

- -1.2mm Stainless steel

- 2.0mm Aluminum

Safety Instructions

Never use the shear where it can come into contact with live electricity

Always keep hands away from the cutting edge.

Only use the shear on the specified drill supplied.

Never force the machine through the material to be cut.

Additional safety instructions supplied must be read and followed.
